The grape vine suggests that the Dons v Workington game has been selected for Premier Sports, so presumably will mean moving the fixture to Thursday 19th June

(Although the 26th would be better for both clubs as that weekend is blank for both and will mean not playing 4 days after the last match)

That would reduce the attendance a bit, i assume that the Dons would recieve some money from the tv company. Good for exposure, not too good for workington travelling fans though.

I would have fancied Town to have brought a few down with them for this had it been played on a weekend.
Our best fixture of the season and we will end up with a crowd of about 300!

Must admit im not a fan of midweek fixtures, rugby league should be played on a sunday

its not free to air so i dont think it would affect the crowd too much, the lack of championship 1 games on premier sports stopped me subscribing and presumably a lot of others too.

I believe the correct date is Thursday, 26th July 2012.

According to Premier Sports website, a Championship 1 match is to be covered Thursday 26/7/12 teams to be announced .

Wont be good for us, I doubt we will bring many fans, if any at all. I came last season to the first away game but wont be coming to this one. Dont know how the finances work on this, will it impact on your takings or will Dons make money from the screening?

Im not surprised to hear there wont be many coming down, and i would hope that the Dons would recieve "screening" monies
