Doncaster matched Fev for the first 40 mins and i think most fans were happy, dont ask what the team talk was at half time for the team to come out and play as abysmal as they did in the second half.

The wingers need to learn to tackle and the sliding defence needs to slide, i think virtually every try was score against us was scored down the wings.

Our left side defence was rubbish.

With our weakened team (two playmakers gone in the past 2 weeks) why would you back us against Fev.

Our left side defence was poor. The first three tries in the first half were scored there and the fourth one started on that side with a missed tackle following an attacking kick by us. Ian Bell had a field-day against the defence on that side after coming off the bench.

Admittedly, tries went in elsewhere in the second half (including Sean Hesketh going 45 metres for one

) but most of the damage was done on that left-hand defensive flank.

Sheffield are a decent side....they have good players.
I know we beat them....but they are streets better than us.

As everyone knows on here im one of the diehards of the fans but even I had to have Fev at -22 in my bet today.Of course when we were winning i was cheering and deep down I wanted us to get a result but common sense said the bet was on.

I had Fev Whitehaven and Dewsbury and its in!!

Agree with some of the others though I reckon there was about 50 or 60 of us today at Fev and thats not good.

I also heard on Radio Leeds about the lads playing for nothing.Daryl Powell also mentioned in his interview the players had took a wage cut.

Certainly no more than that.

A local derby, 15 miles away, about 20 to 25 minutes by road - things don't look good do they?

I have to say, I've only just picked up on your name change.

If you'd have played us today you would have won, I guarantee it. I urge all Donny fans to come out on Thursday, your team spirit is there for all to see which is what carried Sheffield today. If we carry on where we left off today you're going to humble us on national telly.

Cool lets all walk away- I'm sure the people running the club are qualified to find work elswhere with a lot less pressure attached.

Don't you get it ! The purse is empty, Zilch, now't left - what the club has left is what the club has to play with, next week it may or may not be in the CRAP a little deeper. Probably all it has left at this moment is the die hards and when they decide to walk away maybe it's time for Dave Marshall and Co to do the same. Your heartbreak will be his heartbreak but he has the pressure of where to turn next.

Watching the club today you wonder if we have anyone capable of running the club.
May be it would be better if we went away, died gracefully and restarted like Bramley or Nottingham with no silly aspirations.
This would give an opportunity to dispose of the links to the old Doncaster clubs of the past as you can t help thinking whats happening to the money, eg shirt sponsorship, lottery, the sky & gate money (we had a budget at the begining of the season!). And of course allegiances to ex players who can neither drive a coach never mind a rugby league team or play a part in running one.

The only problem with that is the RFL only allow 1 team per-area, That place has already been taken by Moorends, who will be moving into their own ground very shortly with their own clubhouse.

It might be more worthwhile getting behind Moorends then, rather than lurching from crisis to crisis with the Dons.

We would love to be the stepping stone to re-launch the Dons, I'm sure it could be worked in the same way as Bramley & Stanningley share the same ground.

Conceding 50 points in 40 minutes is a standard that is quite frankly unacceptable in a top fllght league.......or most others for that matter. Well more than a point per minute is ........

....and quite clearly demonstrates that players introduced to fill in are just not up to it.....probably their fitness levels more than their skill level.
Size matters as well and speed.
We were overpowered out wide....we were OK down the middle in defence.
There is only so far that grit and resolve will take the Dons.....once we have had a few tonkings like this one....then what?

Maybe the half time team talk was the news they were playing for free of reduced money?

Certantly not a great motivational tactic.
