Huddersfield Giants owner Ken Davy and Rhinos Paul Caddick have both been honoured by the King in the New Years Honours. Davy and OBE and Caddick an MBE. I wonder if David Hughes name ever came up in conversations about the awarding of honours this time around. I bet not!

Not that I agree with the honours system but nothing this year for Kevin Sinfield after another series of ultramarathons raised millions for MND research

( I accept this is by no means an isolated incident - Ms Dynamite MBE services to music anyone?) For what it’s worth I think Sinfield will get a K sooner rather than later. I’m surprised Labour missed the open goal but I think it will come. Happy new year all.
