| As 2025 is upon us and the new season will be here in no time, thought for a bit of fun i'd put something on here for predictions next season for players and teams, something along the lines of:
[b:20139l0b]Teams to Beat[/b:20139l0b]
Wigan and Hull KR for me.. it would be nice if anyone other than Wigan or Saints could win it, but these two look like they will take some beating again. KR have recruited very well again and Rhyse Martin will make them even better.
[b:20139l0b]Surprise Team[/b:20139l0b]
I think Wakey might surprise a few this season and go better than expected.
[b:20139l0b]Most improved player for Leeds[/b:20139l0b]
Frawley - i think he will be much better next season.
[b:20139l0b]Player most excited to see[/b:20139l0b]
Sivo - fingers crossed he settles well and stays fit. Real Xfactor player.
[b:20139l0b]Bottom of the pile[/b:20139l0b]
Cas - will be tight but i think they could well finish below Wakey - also expect Salford and Hull FC to be down the bottom end.
[b:20139l0b]Leeds finishing position[/b:20139l0b]
5th. i think we make the playoffs. Maybe get to the semi finals with a favourable wind and some injury luck.
[b:20139l0b]Challenge Cup[/b:20139l0b]

| Wigan to be top.
Also think HKR will go well Reece is a huge positive kicks win games.
Leeds to make play offs one word class second row signing away from competing for silverware.
Bottom of pile Hull.
Connor will be a great addition if BA keeps him in check also looking forward to Sivo n Hall.
Improved play Jack Sinfield.

| 1. Wigan
2. Hull KR
3. Catalans
4. Leeds
5. Warrington
6. St Helens
7. Leigh
8. Wakefield
9. Hull FC
10. Huddersfield
11. Salford
12. Castleford
Challenge Cup final: Hull KR Vs St Helens (would love Leeds to get there like)
Grand final: Wigan Vs any of top 6 but can only see a Wigan win (again would love Leeds to get there)
I think Arthur will get us back on the right track and we break back into top 4 for the first time since 2017. We have a nicely balanced squad with sprinkles of quality just need them to gel and stay fit.
Wigan are best team in comp and don’t see them dropping off for a good couple of years yet I reckon they get at least 2 trophies next year.
I think Catalans will improve a lot I think recruited the best in SL being the likes of Pangai-junior & Luke Keary NRL premiership winning players.
I think Wire will drop off a bit compared to Burgess 1st season in charge they haven’t really recruited and will rely a lot on George Williams & Matt Dufty being fit all season same with Saints they will rely on Wesley, Lomax & Clark and after next season they will be in major transition like we was when we lost our golden generation they’ve lost Makinson and Lomax & Walmsley could be done after next season.
Cas to come bottom as I think they have the weakest squad on paper but maybe Danny Mags might produce some magic for them, I think Wakey will compete most weeks they have a solid team, I only think Salford could struggle because I could see them losing their start players before season starts or during the season to generate funds to try survive staying in SL.

| Teams to beat: Wigan, HKR and Catalan
Surprise team: Us!
Most improved player: Connor
Most excited to see: JWH only cos I met him in Vegas and had a good chat with him and thought he was a really nice bloke.
Bottom of the pile: Cas
Leeds finishing position: 5th but hoping for 4th.
Challenge Cup: Wigan
Wigan
HKR
Catalan
Wire
Leeds
Saints
Close between the rest who I personally think are not going to be as good as the top 6 over the season.

| Wigan to finish top and win the gf.
Huddersfield bottom.
Us mid table, i don't think BA has quite got the players for his coaching ability to bring about any drastic improvement.
Most improved player? Ackers hopefully.

Think we make the play offs and possibly the top 4 with a combination of the Arthur effect and the addition of some good/very good players making the difference. Crucially though, we have to start well. Confidence for this side (and the support base) is really important, and if it's lost early on we could flop again. Elsewhere, it's hard to look past Wigan unless they are very unlucky with injury.

Yep definitely Leeds need to start well. There's too many scars still there from previous years, confidence will soon go and the fans will quickly lose patience if we don't start well.

| My surprise team is Hull KR
Think they might suffer from second season syndrome and just finish in the top 6
I think we will come 3rd or 4th.
