Turner might have had the man with the ball, but there were another 2 outside of him with only Sharp facing them. Had Sharp stayed out they would have still scored.

I'm not saying we don't have problems on the wings, but I don't think it's the wingers being out of position to blame, as we don't play man to man. When it's a case of multiple players being sucked in it's the system failing further infield rather than the winger IMO. They are doing what the system says they should in the situation, but they have too many men to cover for it to work without an error from the opposition.

As with my previous post, I'm not saying they perhaps couldn't have done a bit better, but in those situations so long as the opposition don't make a hash of things they should always score from those positions. At least on both occasions they were forced wider and Sinfield missed the conversions as a result.

Briscoe has played, within the last 12 months on an international stage for one of the genuinely 3 strong international sides. He didnt get in through the back kdoor because of injury, he was picked on merit, hence by definition he has to be International class.
