As it happens though , Hull FC acted entirely professionaly and within RFL guidelines, as was confirmed today.

He seems strangely quiet though. It would only take a quick tweet to say the YP report was wrong and that he's still going to be a Hull player next season. Presumably he's not contacted Hull either as the club hasn't quoted him confirming his commitment.

Radford was interviewed on RH on Sports Talk. I thought he was uncomfortable answering the questions unsurprisingly so in the circumstances. He said he had not spoken to Connor but expected him to line up for Hull next season. He didn't sound convincing.

According to the papers he told Hull on Tuesday he wants to stay at hudds. Fair enough if he does as long as we are compensated

I think he has realized he has a much better chance of regular first team action at Huddersfield playing full back,combined now with a better contract.
Cant see him at our club being a regular starter in any position.
For me he would be another Curtis Naughton.
Get a pay off from Huddersfield and use the money where its needed trying to find a 6.

I don't think he will be a Hull player next year. Maybe he is legally, but if he's had a change of heart there's no point.
Hull will hopefully make a stand though.

If he came out and said he still wants to come, in light of the recent press reports, that would end all the rumours.
Until him, or a representative, do that then we'll continue to have the uncertainty.

I think he'd have outright said he doesn't want to come to Hull had it been the case. Announcing wanting to stay with your current club would be fine but reaffirming the alternative isn't good for focussing on the job you still want to do in the current season.

I thought he already had signed. The question is does he wish he hadn't? A simple statement from him would help clear things up.

What and have him getting grief from supporters of his current club which he is still contracted to at the moment. As long as Hull know what his intensions are and know what is going on, then we will just have to wait until the season ends. I still think the blame lies with Huddersfield, if they wanted Connor that bad then they should of offered him a contract extension before May.

But did he have contract talks with Connor before Hull showed a interest or was it after Hull signed him?. Even Huddersfield supporters don't believe a word Thewilis says.

Huddersfield had to make him an offer (or tell him no offer was to be made) by the end of April, as he was in the final year of his contract.
Connor had until the end of May to accept/reject/ignore the offer. I'd be very surprised if Huddersfield only started talking contracts after we'd signed him.

Total farce......

Even if we get to keep him, you'll get him for nothing when we get relegated.
