If that is the case then there are one or two baffling selections. I thought that the the elite 'list' was purely for drug testing purposes, hence the exclusion of Gareth Hock at the time. Surely at his age he would have been a shoe-in for the 2013 World Cup?
Tom Briscoe will unquestionably play for England going forward but it wont be this year and furthermore for people to insinuate that Briscoe played last saturday at the insistance of Tony Smith is a massive insult to Richard Agar. |

Why wouldnt you have two of your most respected and experienced players amongst a young Elite Training Squad? Cant fathom that one out!
You are clearly not happy that Tony Smith had the audacity to select a Hull FC player in his Elite Training Squad whilst overlooking the Robins players.
Its his choice, maybe he doesnt think Rovers are that good individually? Who knows. |
