After you comments and other Wakefield supporters about hoping Hull loose etc., I may have to have a re-think about your club. I hope that your thoughts are not shared by most Wakefield supporters.

I am a bit of a Hull fan really, they are well supported and add a 'colourful' atmosphere when they visit BV. I also remember the Hull support on another occasion for WTW and remember banners of support from Hull FC prerviously at BV. What we should be doing is emulating some of the things Hull do-quality player recruitment for a start. So thanks to Hull FC for your support of us in the past and the best of luck, next season, for all except two games!

Agreed FC are a great club.. loyal fans, a great stadium (my best away day of the year) good fans bring a lot to BV, has banter and wish we could emulate some of the things they do.

I think if you enjoy listening to foul mouthed, drunken fans who are happy to swear at women and kids and leave you feel intimidated, then I agree, Hull is great away day. Personally I don't, so I wish them no luck what-so-ever.

I love matches against Hull and I love going to the K.C even though its bit chilly on friday nights. I would like them to have some success in the playoffs, as it would make a change to your usual Grand Final "regulars" e.g Saints, Leeds, Wigan...

So basically you've taken offense to a Wakefield fan, who took offense to something a Hull fans said,

I've heard swearing at every ground, but only in Hull have I seen it directed at women and children. And I've witnessed foul mouthed behaviour from FC fans at the Boulevard, the KC, Belle Vue, the Keepmoat and Wembley which is enough to convince me it's not a minority.

i've witnessed the above (didn't see it at the keepmoat) but it's still a minority.

I don't care what you prefer, or how you find it, when I say I've seen people swearing at women and children, it means I've seen people swearing at women and children. Twist that however you wish.

If it had been directed at men I would have said so you plank. It wasn't. But you're right, I do believe swearing at women is worse than swearing at men. Joking aside I was brought up with the same attitudes of not swearing or mouthing off in front of my elders or women, if that makes me sexist or ageist then I'm proud to be both, if you don't like it take me to court.

If the club are seriously thinking about giving Agar the job it could easily backfire. If they chose an young unproven HC such as Cummings or Wright then I expect they would be given more time to turn things round whereas with Agar the first time we lose a few games on the bounce everyone will be slagging him off and most likely the BoD for hiring him. This would quickly translate to falling gate receipts etc.

That said whoever gets the job will get my backing. If it is Agar - let's hope he proves us all wrong.
