The interest from Ellis comes from Thornley saying everything else we have for players is as good as Wigan except the gym.
Not that it's bad, but it's not up with the best.

Anyone else on here going to the AGM meeting at BV on Monday night, meet at hospitality entrance 6.45 then to Fox’s bar for a meal and then the meeting. This should be a good and informative night we’ve had a great season the future looks promising, and we need plenty to talk about for the next 4 months. What questions would none members like the members to put forward at the meeting.

From me I’m interested to get more detail on the 4 x planning permission options the club are exploring. What are these and which are the most favourable?

Otherwise, is the south east still being repurposed into a sports bar and restaraunt with bar/sky terrace? I do think work was due to start this off season.

I don't think we can assume the things they talked about at the beginning of the year will be the same now.
He seems to have had a lot of new ideas over the year, and obviously the house is now included.

But the shareholders meeting is the right place to find out.
For me, now the team is mostly done, yours is the most important or at least popular question Trojan.

I did wonder if they would connect terracing to the bottom area of flats so that whoever goes there could get refreshments. I suppose it could become a social gathering area. Stick some tvs up there, a bit of music inside and some comfy seating and bar seating. You could also offer some basic food options there too to fans like pies, snacks and more…

Couple of other things to ask if you feel like it’s worth it. If a few seem not suitable or trivial that’s fine.

Will the proposed terracing on the south be seating or standing?

Will this be connected to the bottom floor of the boxes and made open plan so that refreshments, bar, food, music can be accessible to those who wish to purchase tickets there?

Attending a pre season game (I think Wigan) in the east stand I think there was chicken strips and hot food available from the east stand. That only happened once, will there be a larger range of hot options available for next season like chips/cheesy chips/chicken strips for example?

I'm fine asking all those. I'd like to know too.

I'll add some details of what was discussed where I can but just wanted to say it was really nice to put some faces to usually anonymous accounts.

It's easy to forget there are people behind the keyboard on here sometimes.

You sit near me in the Neil Fox Stand too if you've kept your place.

Pie, wedges, mushy peas and gravy.
And then a large selection of flapjack/bakewell tart type deserts.

Was very nice.

In terms of developments a lot of them are still in an either/or stage.
So if they get the plan they want for one thing it might change the plan for another so can't say for sure.

What they did say was they are definitely converting the big house/ showroom to a club shop and cafe.
The designs look really smart and will be another good focal point as you approach the ground.
They've already started putting up boards. It'll be a reasonably quick build.
They'll let the shop in Ridings go when this is done.

They said they will give the gym an upgrade in terms of equipment.
Same with the Rollin Shack bars.

Any major work on these two are still in idea stage but are intended in the long term.
The sports bar idea is popular but that could go a number of different ways. Still thinking about that.

He said they were likely to do terracing at south end but they talked about both terrace and seating, depending if they go with the hospitality ideas down there.
Terracing is a relatively cheap increase in capacity compared to West and North.

Still wants to expand north at the back but it's a big project.

They are doing some big changes to Web sites which we'll see pretty soon. They know their stuff in this area. Looks really good.

And finally, I forgot to ask when shirts would be launched but they did like the idea of making it an event when asked.
The reason I forgot to ask was they surprised us with a sneak preview of the away shirt design. Absolutely swore us to secrecy so no photos.......all I can say is it got very positive response from the whole room.
