Didn't realize that the Wire fans would be travelling on our coaches.....

This is a great offer by the club for the fans but after this away game are all the ones who are coming just because its a £1 still gunna come when it goes back to normal price thats the problem it's ok everybody turning up just cos its cheap but that doesn't mean you stop coming after that we go on coach every away game but after this one it'll be back to the same ones that go to away games all the time

The only problem seems to be in your head, it's a gesture by the club take advantage of it and enjoy it.

Not a complimentary post to our supporters I was actually thinking of going on the coach for a change we usually go to away games with a car full saving cost for each of us. Using this offer would save a few quid but with your attitude I am not sure I want to go on the coach or even bother going at all. My experience travelling on the coaches is mixed we always went by coach when I was younger until a member of the supporters club at that time refused to let my father get off on Barnsley Road at Sandal when the coach was on its way back to Barnsley, after a game he was ill at the time nothing to with the driver but the coach steward. Seems to me with your post its still a closed shop.

I'm not really sure why there is a problem with this?
How does it affect you if people only go on the bus when it's affordable for them?

Great I'm really honestly glad you were thinking about going on the coach like a lot more are it's fantastic and the gesture by the club is brilliant I love what there trying to do by attracting more fans to the away game my point is though that people who don't go to away games will only take this offer up cos its cheap and then won't come again to another away game ever weather it be coming in the car or on the coach all I'm saying is I wish we could attract this much interest every away game cos it would be fantastic to pack the away end at every game but for some reason our fans seem reluctant to go, I don't blame you for going in the car cos if there's a few of you it's more financially better for ya all and I wish a lot more would do the same.
No it's not like that on the coaches anymore no closed shop the guy that runs it now is great anybody that wants to get off the coach at any certain destination he will allow you to aslong as you tell him in advance we always get off in a certain place when we come off the dual carriageway at Newton bar, don't let my rant put you off all I wish for is that more people like yourselves would make the effort to go all the time thats all.

No it's not in my head all I'm saying is I just wish we could attract more and more fans to away games everytime it would be great to pack away end out all the time and not just when the club offer a cheap deal even if people want to go in cars or on the coach just wish we could get more than the usual 200 that go all the time thats all

To be honest I would probably have given the Wire game a miss mainly due to me liking a good lie in bed on Saturday morning and the game is an early kick off plus it's on the telly. Add to this I usually travel by car to away games just so I can get out early if we're .



The offer has made me change my mind just to back the club really. The club will get £1 from two of us and Wire will get £50 (?) total. Seems like it should be away clubs that offer this type of incentive.

But every other clubs fans still seem to be able to travel in good numbers on a Thursday or Friday night away game so why can't ours like the hull fc fans for instance that 1st game of the season even if that had have been a Thursday or Friday night game they would still have brought the amount they did on the Sunday

Yes totally get that fuel is getting out of hand at the moment price wise but I'm not just talking about now as in terms of our fans not turning up in big numbers to away games it's always been the same over the past 10 years or more take 2017/18 season when we were playing some of the best rugby in a long time every away game was the same amount of people turning up everytime not even that could attract more to coming to support the lads.

Think you are overlooking that fact that we only have (compared to some) a much smaller fan base.....

I refer the right honourable gentleman to my previous answer/post..........

The reason why we are low on away fans compare to Hull, Leeds ,St, Wigan ,Wires ,fans they know they have got a good chance of winning.who ever they play.We have been happy with 3 defeats away at 3 top clubs .Till we get a team that can win more than it loses we will not get good support when fans are having to travel 2 hours plus knowing we will probably lose .We seem to have got a different mind set in the team this season so we could be moving in the right direction .

Whilst we don't go to too many away matches these days, we did go to HKR for our first match of the season a couple of years ago, the reason being that there are no big towns to negotiate between Wakey and Hull when heading East on the M62, whereas travelling to Wire, St's, Wigan, Salford all involve a nightmare journey over the Pennines and past Manchester at the busiest time of the day. I suspect at least half of those FC fans that came to Belle Vue 3 weeks ago would feel the same ??

...And it was a Sunday......

So just because we're not fancied to beat teams means the players don't deserve the support then weather we win lose or draw shouldn't matter.
Thats exactly why we don't get good support away because of fans attitudes like that well we're not gunna win so we're not gunna go.

To be quiet truthful think we got a good fans base considering that we have been battling relegation for the last 3 or 4 year. The only way you will get better support is to win matches Take when Wigan and Leeds had a bad season a few year ago ,.there crowds dropped big time .Big support and a losing team do not go together .Till it's a million pounds game then fans come out of the woodwork so it shows the support is there Get the team winning and the missing fans will start coming out of the woodwork more

Hopefully a good win tomorrow will bring some more fans in next week for the Toulouse game ??

Yeah hopefully it would be great to get more fans going home and away just wonder aswell if when we get the ground done with refurbished North stand and a new east stand as to weather that'll bring a few back that maybe don't go regular cos facilities aren't great either get that sorted and get a winning team on the pitch then it might be looking a bit better for us
