Having just picked up my "exclusive" Platinum Member's "free" shirt I wondered what other members thought about it. I quite like it myself and like the idea of printing all the members' names on the shirt. It took me about thirty seconds to find my own name. the material seems a bit lightweight, but at least it won't turn "bobbly" like my previous one.

Not picked it up yet.

2017 polo was excellent quality and material, this one is poor in comparison in my opinion, I am not a fan of the material but the concept is great.

My name is on the front and back of this shirt, unless there’s two of us with the same name. Anyone else on the shirt twice?

Yep....me, the missus, bruv and nephew all on there at least twice I believe but yet to pick ours up to confirm this.

Its a repeating pattern. Prevents you being obscured by a badge or stuff. Nice idea. In the cupboard with the other half a dozen or so from the past. Never really dwell too much on the quality as it is a free gift at the end of the day but it's OK IMHO.

Disappointed I didn't get one due to the club moving the goalposts re the closing date for Commit 6 subscribers to upgrade to Platinum.
So the club lost on my extra £50 plus a few others that I know of who were going to buy a season ticket.
On the plus side, picked my ST up yesterday and I won a £10 voucher in the draw!

I didn't realise that some names were on the shirt twice. A bit disapointed at that as it indicates that not as many fans subscribed as I thought. I haven't checked to see if I'm on twice yet, but the explanation from Wollo seems that it was quite a good idea.

Strangely, it was the 2017 that in my experience went "bobbly" after a few washes. Agree that the polyester was a bit disappointing but i can't grumble really. On the whole I think it's quite good.

The quality of last seasons polo shirt put me off platinum membership this time.
I wore it ONCE and the shirt was already bobbling!
I'd have willingly paid an extra 20 quid for a good quality polo shirt, not one that I haven't worn a second time!

Really surprised that anyone actually takes Platinum for the Polo shirt? When ordering just treat the polo shirt as an almost worthless gift, a bit like a badge, as reward for buying your early bird season ticket and a replica shirt up front.

Yeah of course, the team shirt is the main 'extra' and I'm not having a go at the club, clearly they pack in what they can for 250 pounds - I'm just saying, personally I would have paid a bit more to have a better quality one because I like to wear polo shirts.
Anyway, all very trivial, the membership is the main purchase!

Platinum membership didn't include a small pin badge this time around. I enquired why in the shop and was told that they realised that instead of the usual badge, keyring etc, the £5000 or so saved would be sufficient to sign another young player. I'll gladly forego my usual badge if that's the case.

Not heard anything about members getting discounts in local stores etc.
