| Makes me laugh over the Wembley pitch. Or any pitch that pro's play on. How many people slug it out on a bog up and down the country every saturday and sunday and have to pay £3 for the pleasure. These pro's get paid £40,000 a week and complain that the grass cut up. Oh boo woo, most people only dream of playing on a surface as good as Wembley.
Also, made me laugh after the League Cup final, James Milner was moaning about the Wembley pitch on the Sunday, yet gegging for a place in the England team on the Wednesday on the same pitch, stop moaning rich kids.

| Quote ="Robbie Rotten"Absolutely nothing we could have done today. 10-0-0 from Fulham from the 1st minute, they even had a free kick at the end and decided to run to the corner with the ball, you wouldn't believe they're a premier league side their tactics are so small time.
I probably come across as bitter but I was hoping for a bit of a game today, Fulham came, put every player inside or just outside the box, it was embarrassing to watch Fulham come to our ground to block. We should have won, we're a much better side than them but there was literally nothing we could have done against that, they literally built two walls in front of the box and refused to budge. That's our 4th chances all gone, I thought our subs could have been a bit more adventurous but it wouldn't have made any difference, Fulham got what they came for and Hodgson will be branded a hero for showing a complete inability to get his side to play football.'"
I'm loving Rafa's job this season, funny thing is though it'll all blow up in my and every other Utd fans face when you finish 6th (which is likely now in my eyes) and not even in Europe next season, but win the Europa League and sneak into Europe that way instead... although if the Torres out for the season story is true then i dont think you'll manage to win the Europa at all.
Another funny thing was Mickey Quinn on TalkSport saying that he'd rather Liverpool win the Europa than finish 4th

| After Palace- QPR on Saturday with the Hart-Warnock situation, I was wondering why managers are allowed to manage three different teams Hart with Portsmouth, QPR & Palace in one season but players are only allowed to play for two maximum? (Unless its Uefa's, Liverpool; See Mascherano)
Also, surely managers should be cup-tied if players can be?

The players just have to deal with the pitch. And they do. But when a game has been clearly affected by the state of the pitch, as it was with both the semis, then obviously the pitch is going to become a talking point.
165,000 people watched the two games at the weekend, the vast majority of them paying ridiculous amounts of money to see the games. They should be getting to see the best matches that the teams can provide, but instead they have to watch both sides doing the best they can while trying desperately not to fall over.
The pitch is an embarrassment and it's obviously going to be a long-term problem. Players, pundits and supporters are going to be talking about the Wembley pitch for a long time.

Has Grant said anything about it? Funny its always the losing manager, or Fergie regardless of result, that complains about the pitch.
Also, yesterday enforced my view that Avram Grant is one vastly underrated manager. Took Chelsea further in the CL than Mourinho, and now got Portsmouth, who have had one of the worst seasons in living memory, into the FA Cup final.

I've just spent close to a ton booking my transport to and from Saturday's game (I have a season ticket anyway, so that's sorted).
Whatever happens, I've never seen a season like this – and we're already way over the points we've accrued in any previous Premier League term (that was 55, IIRC.
I'm so nervous already, I can scarcely believe it.

| Real Madrid throwing the baby out with the bath water... again. Higuain to leave in the summer. Crazy move as he's been superb this year and scored some great goals. He's been made the scapegoat for some poor team performances.
Guti and Raul also on their way out of the Bernabeu.

Perez didn't sign Higuain, the fact his star signings have been outshone by someone signed by his predecessor probably pains him more than Real not winning anything.

About time with Raul. He's been an impediment to that club for a few years now. Doubtless he'll take Valdano's spot soon, and f*ck things up from there instead.
Guti could do a good job in the Premier League. Spurs probably, if Big Sam doesn't somehow seduce him.
Higuain will be in demand everywhere, especially at Real's Sneijder/Robben style crazy garage-sale prices. He'd be an asset to every English club I can think of.

O'Shea instead of Evra.
Neville playing.
Wire85 has said it's a big summer for Liverpool, it's just as big United. Real will be trying everything to get Rooney, and if we don't strengthen, we'll be battling for 4th place next season.
Now is the time for MUST to organise some serious action.
