I'd hope season ticket holders would get a more than significant discount if it is subscription funded

Why ? you already get a discount on match tickets. Dont forget, there are about 4 or 5 levels of supporter ABOVE the season ticket holder.

Not sure I follow your logic, as someone's pointed out elsewhere recently we're encouraged to pay up front, thus gifting a significant lump of interest (even with the current market) to the club in the first place. If there was even more incentive to go for this as an additional reward for loyalty, shirly there would be more uptake, no?

you should pay the same as everyone else, season ticket holders have had their discount on matchday tickets (and other things), why do you think they have a given right to further discounts on everything else that comes out.

I'm not saying st holders should have discounts on everything at the expense of everyone else, but if an additional service is being launched such that there's an ongoing cost, then shouldn't those that demonstrate upfront loyalty get recognition (along with the langoustine ciabatta crowd at the back of the west stand)?

The perks that come with a season ticket seem to have been steadilly whittled down in the last few years anyway, so anything that comes back would be nice.

If we're investing in extra coverage of all our home games could we end up with enough cameras to have video ref at all home games?? It may not be anything but vs Salford the car park stewards we're saying that sky arent coming to DW atall in 2013 for rugby.

The negatives have been poor quality and commentary (If any one has ever listened to David Doyle Davidson on radio Humberside in the past you will know what I mean).

It's all internet based as I would guess that would be the way Wigan will go. If it is a similar service for the same price I would really recommend this, i plan the spend the off season re-watching the better games this year.

That would absolutely superb for a fresh convert like me, to see the way Wigan played in the years gone by.. like the Challengecup series of wins and games from the era...

So what if it's slightly belove HD quality... the main thing is to be able to see the game(s) right? And with me working nightshift on most, if not all, gamenights, a service like this would at elast make me able to be an armchair supporter

Yea about time we did something like this. I would be willing to pay for it especially if you could get say delayed coverage of games the following day etc. Think that would be especially handy for people who can not get to every game. Just guessing the way it will go.

As for the best pies in Wigan, I can’t agree with Galloways ruling the roost; if I’m in town that shop that does two for a quid are just as good, if not better? With Micron we have a back catalogue of match footage unrivalled in Rugby League, let's use it. I'm sure it would be very popular amongst supporters (young and old).

The fact they have taken on two full time contracts for this gives me hope. That's a fair wedge of money that could be spent elsewhere, they must be taking it seriously. And It does say nothing like this in RL therefore it must be a better service than those already on offer.

I look forward to this, and just goes to show we have people in our game who are willing to innovate in the right way. I just wish some of these people actually ran the game. No doubt it would improve our sport, not just for the current fans but help bring in many more.
