LondonRL is taking an innovative approach to attract new sponsors for their rapidly expanding Junior Rugby League competition which now involves more than 70 teams from 16 clubs across London and the South East.
They have organised a prize draw to win the chance to be title partners for the 2010 season which costs just £200 to enter and entrants will also receive a host of other bonuses including advertising space and VIP tickets for the Harlequins RL V Melbourne Storm clash.
Ady Spencer, London Business Development Manager said: “This initiative represents great value and the opportunity for a business to become the title sponsor of the league which runs from March until July for just £200 is extra special.
“We all know that times are tough and businesses are seeking new ways to gain market presence and enhanced profile, that’s why LondonRL and the Rugby Football League have teamed up to offer this unique partnership proposition.
“This is an excellent opportunity for companies to put their brand in front of thousands of children, parents, relatives and teachers and get coverage on our websites and social media outlets.”
In 2009 LondonRL registered 1800 club players in its junior development system, stemming from primary, secondary and Further Education school programmes that engage in excess of 33,000 participants annually.
The draw to be the title partner for the LondonRL Junior League for the 2010 season will be made at half time at the World City Challenge – London Series game between Harlequins RL and Melbourne Storm on Sunday February 21.
Every entrant will also receive a partnership ‘brick’ on the LondonRL website (
www.londonrl.com) with a direct link to the business website and advert in the London Junior League Grand Finals Match Day Programme.
In addition they will get four VIP tickets to the World City Challenge – London Series, as well as four tickets to the London Junior League Grand Finals on Saturday July 17.
The winning company will be the title sponsors of all seven regional playing leagues and will see their brand prominently featured in media releases on the LondonRL website (
www.londonrl.com) and on Junior League Club websites.
They will also receive heavy exposure at LondonRL award ceremonies and Finals days as well as seeing their logos appear on the balls used in the tournament play-offs.
