To much booze!

Competed for the entire game. Not sure we really threatened to score in first half but actually were in the game for the full 80 mins. Referee was different. Decisions by the ref were at best unfathomable. Bias might be one view for the best part of the game. Useless generally might be more accurate.

Shuddersfield did enough to win, were not spectacular, managed the minor panic of us scoring.

Once, again, if we had played like that all season we would not have finished bottom. Credit to Hudds they took it seriously and were good defensively. If we had got the rub of the green it would have been closer.

Their try in the last two minutes made it looked more one sided then it was.

But on todays game, it was enjoyable, we competed for 80, and like someone else said, if we played like that for the rest of the season we wouldn't be finishing bottom. I'd like to put a special mention to Dollapi, as he really stood up today and was one of our best players. Especially in the second half, it was a great sight seeing 4 Huddersfield players needing to bring him down all together.

At times we let their forwards roll over us which led to them making more metres then normal, but overall it was good to finally see some effort and commitment shown on the pitch. Glad to see Dixon back, we have missed his running game a lot. And other mentions to Fisher and Bryant who did a good job out there, especially Bryant's offloading, which was very good to see.

Agree completely. If we preformed like that every game we would win more than we lost. Quite frankly play more like that each week and nobody would be as despondent as we appear to be

Can only add that I agree with the previous few comments.

It was a good laugh when the Fartowners decided to take the p*ss by singing Swing Low Sweet Chariot at us and their team promptly dropped the ball near their own line and we scored.

We also played well against leeds imho and a cracking game today with a bit of fight.

No Clubb?

Good game, players actually showed some fight and character which made the game much more enjoyable.
One hud fan said we looked so much better than Salford who they played last week. Went on to say we didn't look like a bottom placed club

Hard to argue with what's been said above. If there is a good way to lose then that was it, everyone was getting stuck in and was particularly impressed with how the likes of Dollapi, McMeeken & Krasniqi stood up to their big pack.

Why would you play Clubb again given what is said in the press? Clubby was there yesterday but don't think he went of the pitch at the end. Nothing said about him leaving, strange.

The whole season has been strange.

If we go Under i think Dollapi is one of the youngsters who will be picked up by other SL clubs.

Soward impressed as always, kept the team going forward and playing with some speed.

In the warm up they spent a good amount of time practicing running and passing at speed. At least 4 times in the match (mostly second half) they tried it out and it very nearly came off. Seemed particularly the centres not being 100% with their ball control (either taking or passing) but the effort was definitely there.

Did anyone else think Sarginson looked surprised at being announced as a departee? The announcer checked something a bit before too, so I wonder if that hadn't been totally planned or confirmed. I'm pleased they did so we get the chance to applaud him (and the rest) for the contribution.

We competed but Huddersfield barely got out of first gear - Brough had a very quiet game.

Is the because we give them little chance to move around the pitch?
