What's your beef with Dorn? He'll be our top try scorer (barring injury) and at 25/1 at the bookies for overall top tryscorer in SL ,well worth a punt. I've heard all the adoration of Scott Hill stuff but the fact remains that only on the odd occasion did we see the Scott Hill of old at the Stoop, more's the pity.

However I'll agree with you about Joe Mbu.

Believe that Mbu will be still around QRL or London RL well after Dorn has gone home to Oz. He is a qualified coach and thus has loads to contribute to the game after he has finished playing.

Could well end up finishing his career at the Skolars and cutting his coaching teeth there, returning to Quins to steer us to GF glory. A true club man!

I'm not aware of anybody having an issue with Joe Mbu, he is what he is, a solid, reliable workhorse. He's never going to set the world on fire, but he'll quietly and effectively go about his job, making tackles and yards, most sides outside of maybe the top 2 have room for such a player. I sometimes think that not having a few players like Joe can actually be a problem for sides.

I agree KF. He has picked up MOM on more than one occasion for his sterling work. Lets not lose sight of the 2 big name second rowers we have brought in. They are both in the mould of Joe. Hard working, tough tackling no nonsense players. Neither of them has the pace and dynamism of Hopo thats for sure.

I reckon Purdo and Gale out, with Golden and Joe covering for Purds and Willo (don't see how Purds can have recovered from a rib injury, sadly).

On the bright side, if we do have to cope without our Capo, remember we did manage to beat Leeds without him (amazing when you look at the 2 teams that day)

With Purdo I would be confident, without him we will have to work harder than Wigan. I reckon Gale will do a good job, ie have the flair and the boot, Mbu will graft. We have to have a higher work rate and a faster tempo. If we get more than 12 points ahead their heads will go down (to say nothing of the approbrium their fans will put on them.

They are there for the taking, but we have to grasp the opportunity.

Will we see a 'late' influx of Wigan fans afterr the football over at Stamford Bridge......think they might well be doing an 'early pies walk' as their team fall before the Chelsea Foreign Legion.....

Could be that QRL might even have to 'open' the South Stand for them.

How would they get there in time?

Williamson is a huge loss imo but Golden is a hard worker so will do a good job I hope. Gale for Purdo would be my choice as he is a good kicker and this could be close.

If Purdo dont play, can Gale play at LF,as dont no if he's played there before.
One thing i know his kicking has got to be better then Orr/Melling, who will be the other kickers in the team if Purdo missing.

Just feel this going to be closer then we think, as Wigan will be up for this due to all the crap they have had throwen at them,so just might come down to kicking and they will have Richards back for this one

It was interesting watching Cullen analyse the Cas Wigan game and how Cas regularly pinpointed Smith to run at and got past in the defensive line. Obviously a weak link we can exploit. Hope BM was watching

Just heard an interview with Nobbie about the game on Sky Sports News. Interestingly, the voiceover said that in contrast to Wigan, QuinsRL have won their first two Superleague fixtures. Did I miss something....
