| So I see the LB are advertising the sept home games at £37 for three games, which is just over £12 per game. While I do appluad the initiative, and hope it gets people in, it again makes me wonder why anybody would buy a ST these days?
I just wish that they could get this sorted out on getting the pricing correct, so it makes sense for people to buy the ST's.

| Wondered when this would be questioned. Difference is obvious! You only get to see 3 games for 12 quid rest you would have had to pay full price. So still works out cheaper to have bought membership than paying week in week out then buying these tickets for last 3 if you do the maths

| The Ticket Bundle was initially for six matches. Each match it has been reduced to a smaller bundle. Five, four and now three games. I believe it has been the equivalent of £12.50 per match at all times.

| I thought we’d worked through this old chestnut earlier in the season and agreed that ST holders like me were unlikely to be financially better off though the set up this year was better than last year especially where games were inevitably missed. Then there is the home games in Kent extra travel costs conundrum. I’m content that price I’ll pay to see 11 games eg £190 is reasonable.
13 home games
Adult ST £80 + £10 a game = 210
5 match bundle £62.50 + £17.50 for the previous 8 games = £202

Maybe they made less with this business model. The one thing I can say is that no one can complain about the kids ST price. Unfortunately the on field shenanigans last season coupled with a lengthy cross london trip have made my son less keen to attend which is a shame as this season they have made real progress.

Definitely- the difference between this season and last, who’d have thought 12 months ago when survival was our only aim, we’d be in a good position to make the playoffs?
Not me for one!

You ain’t wrong. The more I think about it the more mad last year was. That we thought a L1 coach with no support and a basically new team made up predominantly of L1 players would do OK was crazy. Do you remember those early games. Wow we were really bad. Eccles seems to have got things moving in the right direction. I’m pretty positive about next season. Of course, it has been some time since we’ve heard from those running the club so when we do that positivity might change.

| You should always look to strengthen, but I wouldn't be unhappy if exactly the same squad were retained next year (as far as I know zero players are under contract for next season). The team we have now, looks like play-off level next year. But I doubt it's promotion level (although I guess by then "promotion" will be based on an IMG spreadsheet).
I've watched the Broncos for nearly two years. One thing I saw from match 1 hasn't improved greatly. The Broncos kicking (in hand or placed) looks bottom of the League level. Improvement there would make a big difference.

It’s always good to get a few new faces in and I suspect Norman and Whare are here only for the short term but it would be good to hear how our retention policy is going coupled with a less sluggish recruitment policy.
I tend to agree that our kicking from the tee is not where it needs to be. We miss far too many that whilst not easy are not on the touchline. As for our in game kicking I think Norman is much more adept than what we had before. Without him I think we are bottom end of the league. But worth remembering what we put up with last year. Do you remember - was it Newcastle? where Thomas got the ball and just kind of kicked it 10 yards down field or Situ lumping the ball aimlessly forward as he ran out of ideas. From that really low bar we may not be threatening but we’re not comical anymore. Kicking is a really important part of the game and we are definitely behind the curve on it.

| Perhaps Northernbloke. The club should try to tempt more folk to attend games at the beginning of the season, rather than the end!

| No, the club should be trying to tempt people in all the time. If they didn't get them in at the start, try initiatives throughout the season. Or should they not bother at the end

You really are hard work!
Of course they should be trying to get people in throughout the season but not by ing off the hard-core season ticket holders. They should always have the best deal for stumping up cash at a time when cash flow is at its poorest. I haven't bothered to do the maths to see how much worse off a ST is compared to the various deals but if you could have watched all season for less than a ST then that is wrong. I suppose they could give each ST holder 2free passes to the Holy Grail of Broncos supports, The Gold Lounge.

| Can anyone remember if gates fell off last season after the (overly) lengthy absence from PL? This season it feels like they have despite a big upturn in performance. Do we have any actual figures for gates? We’re guessing. Around 300-350 but gates may have been bigger. No harm in them making offers although undercuts ST a bit value for money wise but I figure those who buy ST probably accept the hit and will buy anyway. The bigger point is that the absence from PL does seem to stall crowd growth. Only hope is big push at start of the season and a team ready to go and impress from game one and hope people come back.

| DC maybe do the maths then. It's a few quid difference. I assume you are a ST holder and Yr ed off as you put it? Will it stop you buying a ST in what ever form it is next year, that's the acid test. As BT has suggested the numbers seem to have dropped the past few games, if they hadn't dropped then the club would have not had to have in effect a sale. Had the club not done anything then they would have been getting slated for it, the fact they have done something, guess what yep they are getting slated.
They are already doing it with bring a mate for free, last game of season just make it free entry for everyone if its going to get bums on seats

| If the club is going back to season tickets they will need to be upfront about where all home games will be played. Personally I wouldn't buy one not least since it is pretty much guaranteed that bigger discounts would come along. Unlike I do with some other sports clubs I support I'm not inclined to see a ST to the Broncos as a donation while Hughes is still at the helm. Also one of the advantages of a ST used to be your allocated seat but finding a decent seat at PL is never going to be an issue.

| Yesterday apparently was an improvement on bums on seats, is it possible that was down to the ticket bundle option encouraging a few more folk in?

The Jarrod Basset fan club and the coach load of away fans made the most difference to the numbers yesterday.
If it was the "Ticket bundle", all well and good.
