I hope the club can continue to finance the rest of this season and the club gets the rewards it deserves "increasing gates and trophies".If this happens the club are well within there rights tho increase season ticket prices and walk up on the day prices for next season and i really think people will pay it if we can continue playing as we are now.

Should the club reach the NRC final then they should allow ST holders first dibs with unlimited tickets, second LISA/Lottery (who will mainly be in the first anyway), followed by general sale. The unlimited tickets ensures friends/families are together and that the best placed seats are with the diehards - it also stimulates demands and gives value to being a season ticket holder.
Next seasons ST's should be at £140, and on sale from October at £20 per month for 7 months. General admission should remain the same - we need to attract more fans - the club must look closely at what it gets from the meal/boxes sales, moving them elsewhere if needed as I understand we get £3/4 at present on a £28 meal and nothing from the bar. I am sure miners/park inn would charge no more than a tenner for the sit down due to bar takings, on 2000 meals a season that brings in £30k+ more.

The Watcher has always been one for looking & planning ahead, for this reason he has maintained the opinion that all 16 year olds& under should be allowed into the match free of charge whether accompanied by an adult or not.
The Watcher also has a quick & simple way of raising much needed revenue,charge £2 for parking on game days, simple.

I may be wrong here mind, but the club wouldn't get any money from parking as it wouild go to the LSV or the council, i think.

What is best for the club mourice,season ticket sales or people who pay on the day?.If its season tickets then the' on the day prices should increase to try to tempt people to buy season tickets.
Walk up prices are to cheap anyway,they should be at least £20 west stand and £16 north stand.
If thats all the club gets for box/meals for match days then i agree the club should be looking into taking this revenue stream elsewere,that price is ridiculouse.

I think if we charged them prices John our attendances would plummet, in my opinion anyway.

those prices and maybe dearer may have to be implemented next year if we are to watch a successfull team

its £20 to go in the new stand at halifax,ther are numerous grounds that charge more than £14 to stand.

If we want to continue to watch quality RL then we are going to have to pay for it,i think gate recipts and ST sales inparticular are the way to go about it.

Then i fear for our attendances next season Fred, most on this board would probably pay it as we are die hards, but the amount of people who say to me when they ask how much is it to watch leigh say what for that division.

You might be right Ian,but sometimes i think some SL clubs live in a false economy in an attempt to show the RFL that they are worthy of a place in SL.

It`s £18 to sit in the new stand and I think it is expensive, it doesn`t hit you too much if you have a season ticket as I do but if you are trying to encourage new people down it is too much. It`s hard to know what to do to be honest , I thought Bradford had a good idea when they made the season ticket a lot cheaper (although maybe that was too cheap) . Plus halfway in the year there should be another push for season tickets again.

our clubs couldn't do what bradford did,i think theyv'e re-tapped in to the old bradford support from when noble was ther when they were getting 12000+ gates.
I still dont think £18/20 on the day price is expensive to sit down in a brand new stand,If there are two of you or a family then yes it become expensive but thats when our clubs need to start do doing deals/offers to make it worth while,i think thats were good value family tiket come into it.

I have said before £60 for an early bird season ticket for people my age is too cheap.

When I go to away Championship games it is usually a tenner a game. I would pay more for my season ticket and a lot of my age group I think would too.

And' nothing to do with this topic but conceding 56 points in our last two games is appalling irrespective of what we have scored in those two games.

How about a half price ticket with every full price ticket bought for walk in's?

I noticed we have the cheapest concession prices, nearly everywhere they charged a tenner.

We need more money , so any potential cheap , or free deals have to be completely abuse free as regards being used by a fan already liable to come to the game

The ' Lapsed ' or ' comeback ' fan will be all too aware of what they are missing , that we are unbeaten , top of the league and playing some good RL , these people are not immune to what is happening , are they rushing back to watch us and help the club out ?

Yes the quick fix will be to try to get a bit more money from our existing fan base , as they are the ones who actually care

The long term fix has to be to build the fan base , not with ' one poor performance and " that's me done with them " type ' fans ' , but those that will become part of the hard core support and will watch whenever they are in a position to do so from a financial point of view

This will require above all help and support from the LSV , so it's about time Mr Jones and the council were reminded who the bloody stadium was built for , it wasn't for Blackburn Rovers ,
