The 15 (on Dave Parky's squad update) include teenager Ricky Murphy, who isn't likely to play much (if any) first team, and Ricky Bibey, who may not play at all. We currently don't have any D/C's. If it's Brierley you are referring to, I believe he will be on a season loan, and not D/C.

The chairman said it would be a season loan, at the Touchdown Club Gold launch, the other night j.c. If that's the case, it would be better from our viewpoint tnah D/C.

At the LISA meeting Trevor also said season long loan...Mentioned 2 more of these from Wigan and duals from there also

Loans would be my favoured choice as their parent club cant recall them......so no disruption in the starting lineup (bar injuries).
Can only have 4 loan/duel players (believe they come under the 4 max rule) - so that would put us at 18, around 7 more to sign then.

Plenty more players on the market to sign.....Hulme, Calderwood,Varks,Goddard,Clay,Greenwood,overseas? and any Barra players that are available.............loads of options out there.

The 'parent' club can recall a loan player at any time during a loan period after the initial 28 days (that's been on here numerous times), also the maximum number of players a club can have registered is 40, read the RFL operating rules they are on line.

either way.. Dual or Loan he will very rarely if ever be needed next season for Cas. After speaking to a couple of people over twitter he is down the pecking order and looking how there First team/23's are shaping up I very much doubt we will be losing him back to Cas this season

We've said the same about several dual players in the past though, never say never if he's in good form and Cas get a few injuries. A valid concern, I'd say, though one that is worth the risk if we're going to have him available for the majority of games.

Exactly people are saying if he is on a dual and not season long loan dont sign him but thats just stupid. At the moment we have riddy and Mcnally signed with O'brien in the reserves so if he does get called back which in my opinion wont be happening we do have adequate cover. But the fact that people say dont sign him if its a dual is just bazare

WE are not having a reserves this season, so is O Brien still with the club? Cant see him on the signed list!
Also I can confrim at the Gold member launch of touchdown club and at last weeks LISA meeting it was stated by two different Club officals that Ryan was NOT dual but Season Long Loan

But can play in the HALVES if required
