I think that 90% of the banter is perfectly fair game from Saints fans, and many posters on Redvee have made some very astute comments about the relative strengths of the two sides. What was regrettable, provocative, arrogant and uncalled for were comments by one of the Redvee mods ( or I assume so as the Twitter handle was RedVee) on Twitter about 'putting Warrington back in their box'. If Saints are 'not bothered' by Warrington then that's not very smart thinking, given the league table positions of both clubs.

Also highly ironic given the amount of forward passes they score off. But I doubt they understand the concept of Irony.

There are one or two very unpleasant individuals on there LSF in particular is an extremely hateful one, or at least his online persona is. i would assume he wouldn't dream of saying half the things he does in normal life...but who knows?

Unfortunately ,forward passes like other infringements that are "got away with" by all teams at varying times are just examples of the poor policing of the laws of the game by match officials .
Hopefully, the good weather of the last few days will provide conditions for a spectacular game from both teams.

No one sees it as arrogance, everyone just thinks it’s quite strange to be celebrating a semi final win that led to another Grand Final defeat. Don’t even see Castleford do that and I’m sure you’d all agree they’re a small club. Also, Coote is a better player than Ratchford, of that there’s no doubt. A starting fullback for NRL GF winners alongside the likes of Thurston vs someone who has been a utility player up until recent years.

Really? Each to there own on that one. Havent you had the likes of Joey Hayes and Danny Arnold (unspectacular players) who have won medals with Saints? Winning trophies doesnt mean you are good player.

I'd rather take Ratchford, England fullback, Harry Sunderland winner in a GF.

i love that your only comeback to that, is to point out we got beat by wigan, i remember when saints were a big team and didn't have to rely on wigan results to take the out of us. how times have changed.

I'd take losing a final at Wembley every time over losing a semi final.

Agree, as bitter as it is at the time losing in a final is still better than not being there with a chance to win.

At the risk of cliche, we take each match as it comes. I love winning semi-finals, and I'll celebrate them, thanks. I hate losing semi-finals, as I suspect does every fan, including you. A good win is a good win, whatever happens in the next match. Your opinion of the full-back debate is a valid one insofar as your elevation of Coote over Ratchford goes. Funny though, how a pro journalist like Gareth Walker of the Mirror found it VERY difficult to decide between them. There is [iplenty [/iof doubt as to who is best.

I think one of our fans on Red V made reference to the current MOS standings i.e. Ratchford being well above Coote. The response was that there was instances whereby Coote had played excellent but had still been overshadowed by other saints player during these games. I'd accept that argument if the top ten in the current MOS chart was riddled with other saints players but it simply isnt! We have three of the top ten, Cas have two and Wakey have two...in fact Coote is the second highest saints player behind Roby in 15th spot on 6 points........so he hasnt been performing THAT well behind Roby!!

In fact Coote is only the 4th placed fullback behind Ratchford, Shaul and Evalds.
