FFS goalkicking is so important. Why do so many coaches deprioritise a decent kicker.

Very encouraging this. Shame about the kicks but I'm happy.

Really enjoyed that half, we have completed well, had an effective kicking game and attacked well throughout. Defence for the most part was good and aggressive, why dufty didn't get up in the air for their first try inreally can't say, but their 2nd was a good move executed very well. We showed good character to get past the points swing and get back on the front foot, I'm finding this team much easier to get behind than our recent vintages.

I can only remember the referee giving 1 penalty, he got one wrong for holroyd interference but thats always going to happen a couple of times over 80 minutes and this is 2 good teams going at it. The groud conditions arent great, but this is more like the sport that I grew up with.

Dufty is a very clever attacking player - that kick through for Wrench was perfect......but boy do we need a goalkicker

Mikey Lewis has done some grubby things messing at the PTB tonight, but he's a fantastic player. What a step that was, he's probably my favourite none Wire SL player.

We need to fix the right side defence.

He is a superb player, so dangerous with the ball.

Really need to vary kicking better. Hayes has no distance and he’s taking 80% of the kicks. Costing us yardage each time.

We need to find some line speed in defence here. We are conceding too many metres and giving Lewis and may too long on the ball unchallenged.

Totally agree. There has been a lot to like about the performance tonight. Away at a wounded Hull Kr this has been a good 70 minutes from us in challenging conditions.

Williams and Dufty combine really well with each other, duftys attacking involvements have been great he's definitely trying a lot harder to have an influence.

King has had a fantastic game tonight as well.

I think they were all good but i think fitzgibbon, Walker, Currie, King and Dufty were the pick of our bunch IMO.

How contrary are these clowns, Cooke saying pre game that we're not the real deal etc, all of a sudden they're saying we were the better side. I just can't keep up with this lot. Evidently deflated that we won.
