| Well I'll be going to less games because of the travel costs (and to a lesser extent - time constraints).
£50 in petrol or more than that by train (If they actually run).
I'll be getting Now TV.
I do agree about not seeing the full picture on tv or getting the atmosphere, and whilst I like the idea of more games being shown, I do fear for 'overload'.
I used to arrange what I did depending on who Wire were playing or when they were on tv. Not quite the same now.
Nevertheless I am hopeful for Sam's first year.

With Jeremy Guscott on co-commentary...
Had the 'pleasure' of bumping into John Inverdale in a pub in Media City Salford.
He's as odious as they come, complained about being made to work in Salford rather being sent on Outside Broadcast to some Swimming Gala in eastern Germany...
I just smiled and said it could be worse you might have to live here, he looked at me puzzled, so I added win win.

I'm looking to swap NOW TV for the new SL streaming service. I think you get all the games but with the option to watch them on demand (it's a big ask to commit to all the games at the actual times they're on... imagine what the wife will say?).

I’m just happy it’s not an extra subscription if you already have Sky Sports.

My understanding is Sky will televise every game of the first 15 weeks, after that they will go on a subscription service (whether they are showing the first 15 games to deter people switching from Sky to RFL service, or just because they haven't got it ready yet I don't know.).
As Sky have exclusivity on 2 games a week I assume they will not be available live via the RFL (but maybe with a 2/3 day delay?)

All I know is when it does go onto the streaming service if you already subscribe to Sky Sports you do not have to pay extra.

| Okay, so my English is obviously not up to scratch these days, as I still don't fully understand what that article is trying to say...
I pay £19.99 a month for the streaming service, then must pay £6.99 per game on top for 'selected' games? What is included in the £19.99 then? Just highlights, or does it include live coverage of all the games that are not classed as 'specially selected'. And how do they decide which games are under the premium pay-per view banner? Knowing our luck it will be mostly Warrington games.
I really don't mind the £20 a month if it's for access to full game replays and most live matches, but if you need to pay £20 first then x amount of £7 payments for a few live games, you're better off with Sky.
Maybe when the service is up and running it will be more clear.

| The selected games option is for those fans who don`t want the entire Super League rounds blanket coverage and just want to watch a particular game i.e They don`t pay the £19.99p monthly payment but pay £6.99p for the games they choose to view.

| looks like international subscribers will get all games live and not just the non sky games. I wonder if we can use a VPN to get around that?

| When I was reading various posts I’m sure I read sky sports subscribers got it included. After looking at the app and website etc I have no idea if it’s right or do I have to put some sort of code in. I know it’s not till after round 15 but would like to know. I pay enough for Sky I’m not paying for a streaming service aswell.

| If you don’t have Sky it might be a better and cheaper option to subscribe to Warrington TV for the season and watch them a couple of days later.

Not so sure about this now. In the early weeks all games are being shown on TV & via Superleague+ ... but it looks like later in the season only a couple of games are on TV with the rest on Superleague+. It looks to me like Sky TV Subscribers will have to purchase Superleague+ in addition to their Sky TV subscription to see all games. I'd be glad to be told I've got it wrong.

Yes, that`s the way I see it too.
The 1st 15 games will all be shown on TV, and after that fans wanting to watch all the games, or individual games of their choice, will have to subscribe to Superleague+
I rarely watch a televised game live, but record it and watch it later.
The steamed games are no use to me, if I can`t watch them at a later time, but I had no intention of giving SKY any further money anyway.

Quote "It's been an exceptional season and we are excited that from next season every try, tackle and pass from every fixture will be shown live across Sky platforms - a first for the sport.'"
Seems to me after 15 games Sky will launch a service of their own, whether this be red button or a SuperLeague+ type service we haven't been told. I'm also interested to see if we can watch any of the extra 4 games on delay / on demand with Sky - that will be an important part of which service I decide to go for longer term as other than a bit of cricket - which I could probably take or leave - RL is the only sport I watch on Sky Sports.

I just emailed the support team at Superleague+ to ask about the situation regarding Sky. They said that Superleague+ is a separate service to Sky, so a separate subscription will be needed.

100% feel the same, which is why i never bothered with NOW TV. If i can't record it and watch it later, and my only option is to watch it live it's no use to me.
I'll just crack on and just watch the 2 games a week after the 15 rounds

| I was thinking that you will be able to watch matches via Superleague+ retrospectively. Not seen anything that says you won't be able to do this.

Nah, if you've got a Sky subscription you won't need Super League+. Sky are showing every single game live on their regular channels for 15 rounds, after 15 rounds it will be showing 2 live games on their regular channels and the other 4 will be going on a new Sky streaming service that they are launching to coincide with the new EFL season, which you will have access to as a Sky subscriber. So if you are a sky subscriber, you will have access to every game without touching Super League+.
No idea on the state of watching match replays on Sky. The last few years it's been basically non existent which is infuriating considering how much it costs. I would assume that once they launch their streaming service, you WILL be able to watch games on demand, but that's pure speculation on my part. Although it is the way every streaming service I've ever used has worked.
As for Super League+, it says the games will be available to watch on demand pretty much immediately after the live transmission has finished. After 15 rounds, they will not be able to show the 2 Sky games live, but these will be available on demand after 48 hours.

This is pretty much how I see it, I’ll wait and see how the SuperLeague+ is performing and likely switch once my Sky contract runs out as long as SL+ is working well - I only have Sky Sports for RL really.
