Unfortunately, the picture posted by Buckley Street Wire is a fake. At the time, the Odsal terraces included at least two dead areas from which you couldn't see the pitch at all and that picture has been altered to make them look full. For a genuine photograph - although much poorer quality - see

Having said that, I have no doubt that the crowd was much bigger then the official figure of 102,569. I was there and I was amongst many thousands who simply walked in without paying |
