You’d expect a home game against a Salford team made up of journeymen, Wire would have enough quality on the park to get the two points.. but Rowley is a very good coach who gets his team up for it, and whilst Wire might be wallowing in self doubt and lack of confidence after last weekend.. you just know Rowley will be into his players too exploit any weaknesses that this Wire team have shown in the past. |

Wire by a clear 20 for me, I think we're a different animal this year. (Plus, if the players really do like Burgess as much as we hear they do, then they owe him a big performance after that shambolic one last week - he isn't going to sign an extension if he doesn't think they're listening to him).

Just to return to the subject of Bullock.... ask yourself if he would get a spot in the current Wigan or Saints team. We need to set higher standards if we are to challenge for silverware. Yes, at the moment we are short of quality in the pack, but we shouldn't confuse 'making do' and building the right squad for the job. He can fill in when we play lower table sides, but that should be as far as it goes.

It’s just so frustrating though, as he has the attributes to be good. He’s really mobile for a huge guy, runs hard too. There’s just something missing between the ears. He epitomises Warrington really, cracks first when under pressure. A trait we’re desperate to shake. |

Although I posted those clips of Bullock, he wasn't the only one making stupid mistakes, but he is in the one that has a real rival for his place.
In truth we need one quality prop + Musgrove to start justifying his place, OR 2 quality props.
Really need to be planning for succession as Vaughan will likely leave end of 2025.
