Who wants to watch this penalty fest and clap Sinfield or Richards as they kick penalties at goal. I would rather watch a sport where there are some tries.

There will be more chance of a try in the Leeds V Wigan game than Leicester V Saracens

I wont be watching the premiership final later on if there just gunna kick it back to one another

I know the conditions weren't the best, but that was an awful game of rugby league and not the best advert for the game on national tv with it being between the current league leaders and last years champions.

Can't argue with the result though quality seeing Wigan lose it right at the end. Leeds celebration was funny as well, but could perhaps be seen as inciting the crowd. Saw something get thrown at the players but you can't blame the fans for that reaction given the cirmunstances.

Mental inability in finals still apparent. Could really disrupt their season this.

Today reminded me why we got shut of Gleeson, simply didnt show up in todays big game, compare that to Mathers recent performances for Wire, despite the uncertainty regarding his future!! (Also seemed that "little sam" choked on his own self importance today, especially in the final 3 mins, God i enjoyed that game)!!

Thought the referee did well, but can't understand why he gave O'Loughlin a warning for messing about at the PtB/Stripping, then let him off with just a penalty for the exact same thing several minutes later!

Also, isn't an incorrect PtB punishable with a penalty? Interpretating it as a knock-on has crept into the game to the point where it is now the norm.

Think I'll keep quiet about wigan though (until after our game tomorrow that is

We shouldn't laugh at Wigan. Fair play to them I thought they were the better side, but a lack of discipline kept Leeds in with chances and to score last minute was cruel. I wouldn't have fancied our chances away at Headingley today given the conditions!

The referee did have a good game, but how many forward passes go unnoticed these days? Leeds seem to be the kings of this – it was also apparent when we played them recently.

Looks like we`re getting Saints in the final then.


Saving Wigan for the GF

The fact that a small minority of Wigan fans behind the Goal chucked a couple of objects and flicked V signs in the faces of the celebrating Leeds players..

Means that Wigan fans are now the scum of R.L.

Don't think so. Leeds know how to grind out wins and today was a good example. Shows that the best team can lose - a warning for us tomorrow. O'Loughlin's ill-discipline cost them vital field position, especially as Leeds totally wasted the ten minutes with one man advantage by kicking penalties instead of applying pressure.

The exact same thing would have happened if they'd done that in front of Wire fans at Headingley, and rightly so. That celebration was well over the top.

Given the conditions it was an excellent game. Not great telly for a non-fan but the two sides couldn't help that. I think Wigan are a more dangerous side than Leeds this season so on balance I'm not unhappy we've seen the last of the pies. On the other hand, I think they'll definitely win the minor premiership now as they have no distractions. Saints already in semi, up to us to equal that tomorrow.

I know but the optimists have to even out the pesimists.
To be honest I wish it would have been the other way round because if we get Saints at Wembley there`s gonna be one mad rush for coaches.

Wigan should be concerned that their first go at an intense knock-out game under their new regime, they come short.

A game for the purists, but a damn sight better than the tripe being played a twickers, and wigan lost.

Almost jumping into the crowd, and screaming in the Wigan fans' faces, I thought that was a bit OTT.

If they want to celebrate like that then have to expect everything that is thrown at them, be it colourful language or missiles.

Would love to see the tatooed inbreds try celebrating like that in front of a proper football away end, instead of shouting at a load of kids and old men. It was Lee Smith that jumped up on the wall as well, someone should have smacked the Union reject.

celebrating to opposition fans for me is wrong , why do you think the wigan fans started throwing objects on the pitch , any fans would of done the same if any player celebrated a winning try infront of them
