I think whilst as frustrating as it is, the doc has stuck to his words here. Firstly he stated Alan Hunte would be given a fair crack of the whip - and he's had 6 games in charge W1 D1 L4 (albeit without his own signings) so far. Secondly, all along he stated he wants the right man for the job as its a massive decision - it has become apparent that he is weighing up all options - which makes me think it might not be Nobel after all

Why does he have to rush the decision when no major signings can be made at this stage of the season. As long as everything is in place before the end of this seaon then we can start to plan for the future and actually have a proper structured pre - season .

He is a winner be that horses or rugby league it looks like he wants to be able to compete at very least so I can see a gradual build though out the season then in the off season hopefully we will have put in structures to get most out of our players and newer ones we get in the future

Patience is the key. People are forgetting where we were less than 6 months ago.

It's not helpful having Radio Manchester asking if Salford are 'losing their way again' in tonight's RL Extra just because we haven't made an appointment yet. Really don't understand the panic, surely this is the most important appointment in recent history & it is more important to get the right man than rush the decision & end up where we are now??!

Quite. RL Journos are just impatient for something else to write about. Nothing forthcoming? Let's create something negative to spice things up. They seem to be oblivious of the fact that this season means nothing to us fans other than pride, so what does it matter that the Dr is taking his time?

I'm as impatient as the next fan for more news but I'm a realist too.

But if that is to be the case why is the same reporter demanding the coach be named as the fans deserve to know?! A relaunch in the televised game after a should be easy CC cup win would be a fantastic way to go about it. Hopefully a couple if signings announced as well!

It appears that straight after the game on the weekend will be the announcement.

Also mentions delay was around new signings immediately & for next season. Could be a double bubble?!
