| As I don’t have twitter could you tell me what has been said and by who mate?
Im not going to start moaning at the players as I think there are enough threads already, but yes seems to me like a bit of hard work and they don’t like it.

| Yeah mate Feka said ''great to the boys enjoying training again since you left vievers a 100x better than you!!! we no your on here with a fake account!'' Very unprofessional Holdsworth put in reply ''hahahahahahahahahaha'' Luke Patten and Chris Nero both just put ''wow'' the latter two obviously know to keep things professional.
They obviously have it easier with Veivers, we need to step things up a level though if we want the right results on the field next season obviously some of them can't be arsed though.

| How do you know they have it easier with Veivers?!! Just because the guy said a few things in the open that should have been said behind closed doors doesn't make him the greatest coach we've ever had like some on here think! I'm not saying he was bad because I genuinely don't know but surely it's better to have players inside? I know of one of our coaches who left last season who also doesn't rate him an he is a club legend. Its now time to get behind the whole club for all our sakes and get behind both the new coach and all the players IMO.

| players can have an opinion about coaches whether good or bad. With the world of twitter and facebook opinions of players are made public which can be a good and bad thing. Nick Youngquest who is a very good friend of our captain also called him a bell end! must of rubbed alot of people up the wrong way!

Would be interesting to see if Noble and Long could work together considering that they didn't appear to have a great relationship at rep level.......

| Will be interesting to see how the players "workloads" change over the current months, at the moment most of their tweets go along the lines of "hard long full day training, knackered now Costa coffee then bed after a bit of Call of duty
A lot of them treat it like a blackberry messenger service which is great for us who follow them, we will know if they are doing shorter less intense training sessions as there will be more time spent in Costa coffee and on a golf course somewhere.

| Sorry think the players should have a code of conduct as they are first and foremost players who represent Salford City Reds. Even if Parish has gone the kind of childish drivel you read they have said is unacceptable and makes the club look even worse.

| Well put MR. If I did the same, my employment would be ended immediately. Whereas freedom of speech is a right, so is the duty to express oneself properly and not to defame others ot the organisation you represent.
Sadly, the more that is happening, the less I want to be a Salford fan.

I think they do they don't talk tactics or anything specific just "trained knackered now"
I think its a useful tool to have if we can get in their heads in a positive way and get that extra 1% out of them might make all the difference in my opinion as when you speak to thks in real life they are very robotic "yes, no ect"

| While not for a milli second do I agree with the "defaming" of people by our players via twitter I think this forums general response to our players general tweets borderline pathetic.
Wow, these people have social lives and use public networks to communicate....
Get a grip people, seriously. We're not talking about premiership footballers here. More talented local lad's some earning less than your local GP. While I appreciate they represent an organisation the outside world is probably more pre occupied with the laughing stocks further up food chain.

| I gotta agree with Lyrad Red here.
It's nothing. Players are people after all, not automatons who have to adhere to some moral high ground. It's not like it's anything that bad, and believe me when I say that player/coach conflicts have existed under previous set-ups and will continue under the next. That's life. So a couple of players have aired their feelings. The same feelings that get aired between themselves every day, the fact that we know about them changes nothing. It seems to fill some of us with outrage when we discover that players are allowed to have opinions and some of them opinions might make you feel uncomfortable.
What the OP failed to show was a lot of positive vibes that have come out of Twitter also.
Things are so negative on the Turkey atm that every little bit of information is jumped on in a negative light. It's definitely a case of glass half empty on here these days.

| The attitude on here is unbelievable. You all seem to think that Because Parrish was an Aussie he was a good coach. How many of you had even heard of him before he was appointed? Was it coincidence that the week before he left he was being touted for a job at Manly. It could be far worse, they could have appointed Steve Anderson who nearly destroyed us in 2002.

We didn't really get to judge his coaching. I think many just thought he was a good bloke.
If we do appoint a replacement hungry to gel with the fans on this board, he'd be missing a trick if he didn't conduct his entire first press conference waving a 'w@nker' sign at the directors and periodically winking at the camera.

| You can believe what you like about MP, but one thing's for sure, he was right about Feka. He IS a fat b**tard AND he's not worth a contract and therefore we needed to GET RID.
Unfortunately for us, Wilko and Simms appointed Parish AND signed Feka. Typical endings to the thousands of false promises we've had to swallow over the years.

| Ashley Gibsons comments on twitter just now about training ''skills, weights and pilates done, off home now...too easy'' Make of that what you will. I hope he's not referring to how much of a doddle it is under Phil Veivers thats exactly what they want and exactly what we don't.

Yeah saw that....bit of a concern going from "oh im dying" which is the usual post training tweets from our players since preseason began, wonder what time they started training today?, finished at 2pm maybe even early presuming he freshed up before tweeting
to be fair he has come out swinging as i pulled his leg about it said he was talking about the life of a rugby player and that "the boys are working hard all the time...some can barely walk" it kind of gave me a walm glow inside pre season is all about pushing yourself to the limit
He does seem obsessed with physical fitness the amout of stuff he does of his own back with is a bonus

| Anyone considered the fact that today was a day reserved for weights, moves and ball skills? You know, a lighter day to put some focus back into the technical side of things.
I have had the pleasure (Or lack of) of a couple of Salford pre-seasons. Even under Tamati, pre-season was arranged in such a way as to be intensely physical and demanding the first half of the week, and more technical towards the end of the week.
Just a thought, seeing as it seems fashionable on here to see who can make the biggest knee-jerk reaction to the slightest thing.
