We can be best buddies now. We are the same! EXACTLY the same! We both benefit from unfair decisions from the RFL.
I expect the fair and even handed flatcappers will now treat you EXACTLY how they treated us, with the same slanders and prejudice. Otherwise they would be parochial little hypocrites and I can't see that happening.

IMO we need to go up to 15 teams next time and bring in Widnes, Toulouse and Leigh. Kicking out Salford.
Next time around after that hopefully Barrow may get somewhere with a new stadium and Halifax wil be further along the track. The paris team will have a good shout due to RFL's obsession with expansion.
I think one thing being overlooked with the franchising is getting all the smaller clubs up to standard to at least be able to apply for a franchise and I also think if the top league is a franchise then the second league should be as well! The reason football is so strong is because of it's strong lower tiers and it's the same with RU and cricket.'"
Do you seriously believe that Leigh are "further along the track" than Halifax are or is it just that you are from the dark side of the Pennines and therefore biased?  |

What about promoting another team from C1 instead of just saving Leigh?
Isn't that what happed ala Paris?
And doesn't it still leave 10 in one league and 11 in another?

I'm sure the RFL did consider that option and yes if you have 21 clubs in 2 leagues , one will have an odd number in it , it was the RFL's decision |

A big huge roof which protects from the elements!  Won't totally protect you from the cold but its a damn site warmer than a terrace with no roof, especially if it rains or snows. Critically you can retreat to the concourses at half time to get a break from it! A pint in the cold is not nice! |

But we havent have we ?
While I am ' Happy ' to be back in the Championship , I am not ' Glad ' with how it has happened |

A roof what protects you from the elements but not the cold, right got it now presumably the roof is centrally heated then. Critically if you retreat to the concourse to escape the cold surely a pint in the warm surroundings of your concourse would be nice  |

Which team? Two teams have already been promoted, so who would you class as the "runner up"? Oldham, who lost the GF or York, who finished above Oldham over the season?
Given the circumstances, I would say it would seem logical to promote the team that finished 9th in the Championship rather than the team that finished 3rd or 4th in C1.

Yes, but there may have been issues changing the structure of each league (albeit, slightly). Clubs have set season ticket prices under the assumption that C1 will have 10 teams and 11 teams in the Championship. Normally, changing the number of teams in a league would be announced a year in advance, rather than in the close season. |

And there was me thinking, as has been said by many flatcappers on here that it was the PLAYERS who lost touch with the old visa laws.
I guess LeythIg that you have inside information that the club is culpable.
I suggest you pass it on to UKBA because THEY investigated and found no evidence of wrongdoing by the club.

Only because the bottom team (Oldham) had already folded. Under all other circumstances a relegated team was reprieved first (i.e. Huddersfield staying up when the NFP winners failed to meet criteria rather than runners-up getting promoted) |
