This is a common mistake with RL fans, it happened with Diskin at Leeds, he had a similar injury and they take a long time to recover from, it took Diskin about 2 years to get anywhere near back to the form before his injury.

Mason is still a good player and when fully recovered could be back to his best, however any SL club that signs him is stupid as he could potentially disrupt the whole side with his attitude, that said I bet a few clubs will take the risk!

and I agreee about him being better than o'mealy who is way past his sell by date.

The beach, not the area

Went to Jervis Bay last weekend, now that has some nice beaches if thats your thing.

Friend of mine lives in Nowra, Jervis Bay is a good place

Enjoy it while you still can though they are on about building the Nuclear power plant there again

I don't deny that the beaches on the west coast of scotland are beautiful but lets be honest you aren't going to sit on them with your boardies on enjoying an ice cream are you?

More suitable attire would be an all in one industrial thickness wet suit covered in 120 litres of goose fat

and the only reason the beaches up there are not covered with dog sh*it is that its too cold for normal dogs and there arent that many St bernards or Huskies up in Scotland

The thing is, Matt King was never a great player. As part of the super-structured Melbourne backline he looked like a world beater, on the receiving end of some good halves in Origin he got some good results; and that's what people (including the Wire) saw.
Whereas actually he was tall, fairly quick with good hands and able to run some very structured plays well. Not bad at making a quick judgment on what to do close to the line, but again that was more about reach than footballing brain (sorry Matt).
In the right role with the right delivery he was excellent, but Warrington seemed to think they were getting Slater or Inglis.
