| tell that too the aussie media, all they talked about was haynsey,
my friend was raving on and on about hayne and before the storm / broncos game i reminded him about inglis, whom everybody had forgotten
during the game i was laughing, texting my mate whod said hayne was a better player.
having moving back to his natural position in the centres, hes back to his best.
though mark gasnier in form sure had some talent as well. and justin hodges is certainly a fantastic player too

| Inglis is a special player, just makes everything look so easy...i can imagine him at school being great at all sports.
problem is in this country when anybody with god given all round sports ability comes along he is nudged towards the money(ie football) eg Ryan Giggs

Are you kidding? As if he'd get a game ahead of Stu Littler!
Seriously though, if anyone on here has the kind of sway to forcefully 'put' Inglis into the Salford team then have a word.

Good points, tbh I'd have said naturally Gasnier was the better 'footballer' as such, the most gifted centre I've seen; Inglis is just an athletic freak.
tbh I don't think Hodges is a touch on them two in their pomp.

| It was a brilliant battle too, in Origin 1 Gasnier outclassed him, Origin 2 Inglis trampled Gasnier, although the defence was like watching England in the WC! Not a lot between them in the third if i remember rightly in 08, good series.

Nevermind. For all big daves bleating about how he was going to aus to sign Gansier, at least he came back with David Vealiki to soften the blow.

| What I don't get is why people keep comparing him with big Mal Meninga? Alright, it was a different game when Mal was steam-rollering British outside backs for fun, but Inglis is ten times the player Mal was.
Very few players have the ability make it look like they're just gliding across the park, but this kid makes EVERYTHING look effortless. When he broke down that left flank against us at the DW t'other week, he made evryone else - including his own team mates in support - look like they were running in concrete. An incredible Rugby League player.

| One of the best Inglis tries I have seen was the one he scored straight from our short kick off in melbourne (just after Billy Slater scored 'That' try
superb awareness and speed. he just seemed to come from nowhere

| He came from about 10m behind a couple English players who only had to move about 10m themselves. It was incredible how he got to the ball first.

| Quote ="CGD"Yes, this is a , but check it out.
Since his NRL debut, he's played in four Grand Finals, winning two Premierships and one Clive Churchill Medal. In 2007, Melbourne Storm named him at centre in their Team of the Decade. 2008 saw him win Best Player in the NRL, as judged by his peers. In the same year he earned his first Dally M awards for Five-Eigth of the Year and Representative Player of the Year, which he backed up in 2009.
He's played in four Origin series, winning all four. In 2009, he won the Wally Lewis Medal for player of the series, and won the Mal Meninga medal for QLD player of the series in two consecutive years, '08 and '09.
In 2006, he won International Newcomer of the Year. He's won a Tri-Nations and a Four-Nations tournament, earning player of the series in the latter. He's played in a World Cup Final. In 15 Tests, he's scored 15 tries.
He won the Golden Boot as the world's greatest player in 2009.
Greg Inglis, aged 22.
No matter which club, state of country you support, we should all feel privileged to be watching as player of his calibre. With another decade in front of him, we may be watching the greatest player to have lived.'"
