| Having watched the replay of the game three times now, it's clear as day that in the build up to the Leuluai score that Buderus is indeed offside as he is in front of the play the ball.
Now let me take take you back to Odsal 2009 and a very similar incident where Webb was offside (in front of the play the ball) and like Buderus yesterday he played a part in the try for Burrow which at the time was rightly chalked off and the resulting penalty awarded to Bradford.
Then why did both Steve Ganson and especially Richard Silverwood who had multiple viewings of the incident because the try was handed to him, fail to see that Buderus was in front of the play the ball and offside when he made contact with it?
It's yet another embarrassing decision by the video referee and guess which side suffers again?
Will another grovelling apology from the joke that is Stuart Cummings right this injustice?

| I thought we'd permanently lost you to the dark side of commentating and competition running.

| tbh the buderus offside incident was the only decision yesterday which was a clear cut mistake. All the others had an element of doubt to them so I dont really have a problem with them. But it doesnt really matter now as the points are gone. best thing potter can do is use the sense of injustice as a tool to motivate the players for the next match.

Well I must be careful what I say on these boards but I feel that the club have valid grounds for a formal complaint over both officials handling of the game yesterday.
The penalty try was a penalty try IMO (I've had to ask myself over and over if the same thing happend to a Bradford player, would I expect the same outcome and the answer was yes) as Raynor committed a 110% clear professional foul which then prevented the chance of a Leeds try.

Same here Matt.
Forget the penlaty try and the alleged Walker knock on, the Buderus offside/Leuluai try is the clear cut mistake from the officials and I would expect both to be put under close scrutiny for it and maybe even see them dropped for a week.
But Cummings won't do that, not against his protected species.

There arent enough full time officials to be able to drop ones that arent performing. No point moaning about it as far as im concerned. use it as motivation and move on.

I'm not really moaning but making a point that had the officials done there job then it would have Bradford 28-14 Leeds and a penalty to us for the offside.
Not the try being given and then the gap down to eight points.
Anyhow this is the last you'll me mention it, best to forget the injustice and look at all the positives.

For one week the replacement ref doesn't need to be full time.

true, but if RFL drop a ref then they are effectively admitting he made a mistake which is a can of worms they wont want to open.

Stuart Cummings actually said he'd like to be able to drop them if they don't perform and create some competition between them to get big games and to do well.

realistically to do that he needs to increase the full time roster in order to create competition. As long as there are only 7 full time refs for 7 fixtures then its going to take pretty major mistakes before they drop one and give a part timer a SL game. If they had an extra one or two fulltimers then there would be genuine competition for places (although downside would be stuart would probably have to give up his fortnightly trips to south of france ).

| It's a tactic Leeds use often. They only get caught occasionally and usually only when it's a Sky game. They got caught against us and, I think, Wakefield.
It's blatant cheating. But if the ref and linesmen don't see it then they'll just keep getting away with it

| ....and of course, if the ref makes an error next Sunday against Wigan in favour of the Bulls, will the most paranoid fans in SL be throwing a massive collective hissy fit if it wins them the game?
Answers on a postcard please.

Leeds have done the "guy hanging round in the opposition defensive line" tactic more than once. They got caught against Bradford at Odsal and I think it was Wakefield.
Once, you could say it's a mistake, twice is a bit dodgy, but to be seen doing it 3 times then it's clearly an attempt to blatantly cheat. The ref may have missed it on Sunday as they are only human, but that doesn't stop the fact that Leeds set out to cheat at the game

Their is only 6 full time refs now so one part timer is used each week. So I'm not seeing your point of view about dropping refs.
