Said that he is with SMTM. If he doesn't accept the higher contract with Warrington he will be liable for the fee of the agent. Absolute scumbags

Maybe we should quit this first team thing - because we're not really good at it;
and start a new club which is just an academy to train young players for other clubs - I think our history shows that we are actually pretty good at that.
By not having a first team - we dont have to worry about relegation again

League Express reporting that St Helens ready to offer a deal to James Bentley. I've heard differently recently and said to have signed for Leeds with a loan deal back to Bradford. Genuinely hope that it's not wrong and he has signed for Leeds.

Partly the reason why Bradford and Leeds done a lot of dealing this season. Oledzki & Smith returned to Bradford on Saturday for the super eights.

Whoever gets him is going to have one hell of a player. Absolutely outstanding today today. Think we forget he's still eligible for the academy.

Ryan signed for Leigh.

To be honest, i won't be as gutted losing Bentley and Ryan as i don't expect to keep them in L1. Both are so much better than L1 players and i would rather they moved on and have successful careers they deserve. For me we need to try and do a Toulouse. Get a young squad, enhanced with senior players, gel in L1, hopefully get promoted and add or two quality additions that will improve the squad. Try get some continuity. and try building by keeping the nucleus of the team and keep adding.

Yep, second that, he's been a good solid player for us, and I genuinely wish him all the best wherever his future takes him

Thought he was superb against Sunday. Had the heart of the lion. If some of our other players had his heart and mental toughness and the never give in attitude just instead of feeling sorry for ourselves because something goes against you, i think we would have had a few more wins this season. Will go on to better things. But there's more promising juniors coming through. We go again.

As much as you don't want to lose them, you can't ever wish anything but good things on someone moving on who has given their all for Bradford. And James Bentley has clearly done that in every game I've seen him play this year.

Although I won't pretend part of me doesn't hope he doesn't get in the first team yet and comes back to Bradford on loan!

Shame there's not some compensation package in place. Presuming the £15k clubs received when another club sigined one of their U21 no longer exists?

If it did, I'm sure we wouldn't receive it because the previous club went into administration/liquidation. Like most other money we're entitled to, it's usually diverted to pay some previous crook's debts.
