LBA to Carcassonne Wednesday to Sunday
Ryanair
It is £111 at the moment without baggage charges, insurance or credit card handling fees.
CST pick up at Carcassonne, it's a fairly quick journey to Perpignan.
If you want to go direct to Perpignan you're probably stuck with the early flight from Stansted or I think there was one from Bristol.

Is this in retaliation for your game at the Stoop being on a Friday? I would have preferred our Friday night game experiment to have been against one of the perpetual Friday nighters - say Hull FC. |

Looking at that list Macca should be easily capable of winning 5 of the first 10 games. Anything less and I don't think there's much point persevering with him with the squad we have assembled (pending Orford). Unless there are extentuenting circumstances like the squad being stricken with Swine Flu or something.

Looking at it - it is purely to allow the squad to have as many recovery days before the first of the Easter games (vs Leeds) as possible because then you have to back up 3-4 days later.
This seems to be the first time in ages that we won't be able to use the - "we played three games in 8 days Sun - Thu - Mon" excuse.
Good fixture management by the club imo |

That was my point - I think the club has already deliberately changed it from Sun to Friday to allow for 6/7 recovery before the Easter Thursday game |

Me too. Macca will get a new contract extension this year IMO. Expectations are rock bottom after last year, and with that squad we should be knocking on the door of the top 4. 5th place beckons for mine. |

Expectations are far from rock bottom. Last year was an embarrasment for the club. One would hope a repeat of last years start to the season, especially given the money pumped into the squad this year, would mean that McNamara is out of Odsal so fast the door doesn't even have time to hit him in the harris |

This is true and I take your point. Truth is though, and with all due respect to Quins `cos it`s along way, every other week, and not just occasionally like it is for us, there wouldn`t be that many of them at Odsal whatever the kick off time whereas................
Maybe they`re trying to maximise home support, and if so then good luck to them, however at face value they are a club which gets the better of the `suppporter exchange` and, to be honest, it seems a strange decision to effectively cut off a, not inconsiderable, revenue stream in this fashion. |

tbh that makes sense and while it may be slightly unfair on quins we arent going to see a major hit on out gate as they only ever bring 50 or so anyway. And they expect us to travel down to london on a friday night too so its a bit of a case of pot calling kettle black , epsecially after way they mucked us about last year to accomodate their friendly with manly ( in fact I suspect RFL may have done this deliberately as compensation for last year). |
