I do hope that we keep faith with Mac and the team. They have done a great job this year and were on fire a few weeks ago. The Sky pundits and SL do not want us to keep winning and so teams playing Leeds seem to be given every advantage. This really started with Wigan, who were allowed to hold down, be offside off from a skinny 10 and to have a quick play the ball. The same tactics last night, skinny 10, Wire in your face being allowed to hold down and a very impartial official!!!
MAC and the team need to find a way to play against these tactics, what would the Aussies do? I am confident with the right team selection and Tactics we will return to our place at the top.

A good number of players need to 'man up' & take on opposition tactics (you can bet your life that most teams are going to employ the same tactics that Wigan & Warrington have successfully used recently) !

Do you not think Wigan and Wire tried these tactics when we played and beat them earlier in the year though, or that other teams haven't tried it? It's one thing for then to do it against a team starting to hit an iffy patch, when we're back to some form it won't be that straight forward a tactic.

Problem is - unless our players (especially the forwards) knuckle down & take on the opposition, our 'iffy patch' could become a mid season run of losses. By July/August we could be down to 3rd/4th or worse & having an up hill struggle in the play offs, as we have in the last couple of years..............for me a result of GH & McD. hanging on to too many older players & NOT having a succession plan to introduce more young players in key position (prop & half back in particular) !

Oh cr@p we have lost 2 of the last 3 games.....let's hit the panic button!!! Get real!

I'm pretty sure when Saints had back to back defeats, they didn't think "poo, we might get relegated at this rate. Sod it sack Brown!"

The problem for some people is we have had a fantastic first half of the season and their expectations have become a little unrealistic. Yeah it would be nice to finish the season at the top of the pile but we was never going to go the rest of the season undefeated like some we're thinking!
