Rohan is painfully lost in the post game meeting footage.

You can almost see Gary cringing in the background at one point.

Second episode confirmed again that Smith was a long way out of his depth. I get that you can edit things to make certain stuff appear, but the silence in the changing rooms, the speech by a clearly very frustrated Rhyse Martin, Cam telling the team that he’s sick of hearing it, they all point to a coach who cannot get a hold of the team and narrative.

I’m bursting to see the next one with BA, I think you’ll see a completely different approach.

Really enjoyed it. Been very truthful. Can't believe have to wait till 20th for next episode.

Couldn't agree more, nothing interesting in there at all. Everyone just watching it and seeing what they want to believe. Pointing to the speech by Martin and Smith as a failure of Rohan Smith; they're senior players I'd expect them to be making speeches.

So you think a senior pro, going so openly and vocally against what the coach is saying in the dressing room after another thumping defeat is a rousing approval of the coaches tactics and appraisal of performance?

It's far more interesting than watching a winning team. Looking forward to the episodes with Arthur for comparison. Will give us a good insight into next season.

I'd argue that even the most ardent Rohan fans will watch that and say he looked lost.

Fascinating watch, and I'm assuming it will be the most interesting of the series.

In many ways, it does confirm a lot of things. RS doesn't seem too bad when things are on the up, and there's decent performances. I wouldn't say anyone watched episode 1 and thought he looks completely incompetent.

As displayed in episode 2, he just didn't have any ability galvanise the team and pull them out of a hole. In fact, he seemed too pre-occupied on trying to be positive than making players accountable.

I think strong teams need to have key players and coaches that players want to play for. We seemed to be lacking a bit of both under RS. We need the players to step up next season in this regard too.

What would you want to see included?

Something actually interesting that we haven't seen before. It's a behind the scenes documentary - why didn't they show us the conversations around Rohans departure between those involved and the subsequent search for a new coach for instance.

A real missed opportunity. I can see why they didn't want to show all, which in my opinion is an enormous miss, but other sports such as football, have really given a true behind the scenes reflection of how clubs operate over a season. I don't think, as Leeds fans, we have particularly learned much from the first two episodes.

I can remember watching some footage of Rohan talking to the team at half time when they were losing and i was really shocked at how poor he came across when trying to motivate the team, he was really odd in the way he was delivering his message and just didn't expect it.. i thought he'd be much tougher.

Yeah overall the documentary has been rather disappointing. It’s largely just an extended rehash of the behind the scenes that they put on YouTube. Most of the successful behind the scenes documentaries have had real behind the scenes conversations like what happens in the managers office. It’s fine for a freebie with membership but i did expect more.

Such emotion from Martin when speaking to his team mates at the end of the KR game. He was a fantastic player for us. He will be remembered very very fondly.

Enjoyed the final ep. BA takes no prisoners does he - great to see. In stark contrast to GH, predictably banging on again about the most competitive SL ever ....etc

Not that bothered to watch this in full but thought I'd dip into some key bits. Anyone know how to access it if you've only just renewed for next year so not received any of the codes? Or is that a penalty for leaving renewal until the last minute (fair enough if so!)

If anything summed up how the club had got into the mess it has since 2015, it was GH's attempt to put yet another pile of garbage season down to how competitive SL is.

I fear that all the Leeds players think that by having a tough pre-season from Arthur that they will instantly be a top team. I am concerned they believe they can just turn up next season and they will be a top four side.

Would you rather they were as unfit as they were last year? Friendlies don't tell us much, but a feature of Boxing Day was the improved and sustained line speed. Last year we simply were not well conditioned enough to execute Arthur's game plan. If they can take that one aspect into the season proper, they'll be much improved.

I don't buy it either, BA is not that slack to allow that level of negligence. He knows these are steps along a journey.

A tough demanding coach is not the answer for every side in every situation. However, at this moment in time at Leeds it is exactly what we need. In 5 years things could be different but right now we need fitness, strength, accountability, less errors and the basics done well. Once we've got that sorted we can look to play in a different style.

Leeds have shown time and time again that they are a mentally weak side, so them believing the hype that having a tough pre-season will automatically make them a top side concerns me. Time will tell. I agree that Brad Arthur is exactly what we needed at this point and that a tough pre-season is also needed, it just concerns me when some of the players think that a tough pre-season will parachute them to the top. The London games last season were a prime example of Leeds believing they could just turn up and win. I think a change in their mindset is also needed along with improved fitness, strength, skill etc.

The only message I've picked up is an admission that they need to do better, far better. There's been no hint of complacency that I have detected, maybe I've missed something.

I don't think it's been complacency exactly, more of a rabbits-in-the-headlights thing when they've encountered adversity. As Mike Tyson famously pointed out: everybody has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.. It'll be interesting to see whether Arthur can remedy that. Big, big clear out if not I feel.

Like what i've seen from the pre season clips from the coach tbh.. he's delivering several home truths to the players and getting them much much fitter. This can only benefit the players. It may break some (which case get rid longer term) but it could be the making of many.. one of the reasons NRL teams are so good is the fitness and intensity levels they can maintain for match after match... we need some of that.
