I hope he does play Gerrard & Lampard. I'd play them in the middle, depending on Barrys fitness though. If Barry does get fit. I'd go with something along the lines of;

Lennon -----------------------Joe Cole

---------------Gerrard-------------------

Or whichever widemen Fabio chooses. I just put Lennon and Cole there as an example. A formation similar to what was successful in qualifiying.

That was just an example of the formation I'd go with. Should have put the players I'd choose in aswell. Got no f-cking idea why I didn't. I'd love to see Milner starting, I know he's played central for Villa but for England wide left for me. Gerrard out there is completely wasted and Milner has playing wide alot more than he has central, throughout his career, so I'd go with him wide left & probably Lennon right. Unsure though, Walcott - Lennon. Any really, with the other coming off the bench.

I wouldn't. He was largely ineffective in both roles he was asked to play last night. It's only his versatility that's keeping him in the running I reckon.
