| I`m sick of saying it we will not win the league with Meslier in goal.
Also see Bamford injured again after his 10 minutes against Blackburn.

| We’d be 6 or 8 clear with a decent keeper. I’m absolutely fuming. The lad just makes far to many big mistakes

| Saw em mate, absolutely shockers as you say. Very unlike him.
Looking class above Solomon. I do wonder if they might look to bring a keeper in now or if they’ll back Darlow. Messlier needs taking out of limelight for a bit.

| I think this game put to bed the 'Ampadu should start at CB instead of Struijk' debate. We need Ampadu in midfield, especially away from home.

Yeah agree, said same to my mate earlier. That last goal should have been blocked too by the defence

| Yes Ampadu is far better in midfield.
Personally I would have gone Wober alongside Rodon and Schmidt LB.
Hull were or still are the worse team in the league for goals scored and they had 6 or 7 players missing surely Schmidt should have come in for this game.
James had a shocker against Blackburn too and I think we should have given Ramzanni a game especially against so called poorer teams.
If it`s not working you have the likes of Byram and James or Gnonto to come on.

| Just seen Farke`s interview where he said we didn`t give them many chances.
Christ we could have been 3 down first half.

To be fair to Blackburn they’ve a new manager in there now who’s definitely made them better, they’re recent games have been much much better then under old manager. Wober gets beat to easily by someone with pace when he’s at LB. Agree re Ramazani, I thought he’d come on along with Gnonto when we went 3-1 up and also Guilavogi to help us defensively

The radio commentary team and papers agree with you. Funny thing is they also slated your mate Piroe who had another really poor game by all accounts. You seem to have a real agenda against James, yet fail to ever mention Piroe’s long standing underperformance. There’s only one out of the above two that has plenty of credit in the bank, and it isn’t your mate Piroe. For me, James is currently our player of the year despite his last couple of underwhelming performances. Piroe ? , I really don’t think we’d miss him if he didn’t play again this season.

| I can see us in 3rd after the next 4 or 5 games.
We had a good opportunity to get some sort of a cushion with a home win against Blackburn and an away win at Hull.
So for me that`s 4 points dropped and Sheff Utd and Burnley have what looks like a few easier games than us coming up.

| 4 from next 5 are st home inc cup. We'll still be top 2. Cup coming along is perfect timing imo. Time to have a look at Darlow and rest the main guys. Today may focus the minds a bit that there’s still improvement required and an incoming player in Jan would be welcome

| Some really poor finishing in the first half from Piroe James and Aaronson, could have had 3/4 goals.
Meslier just gets worse each game, surely we can’t continue with him.
Where’s Tanaka been hiding those strikes?!

I left on the whistle, before the players came over, but in the crowd he was yes. and the majority of the crowd.
I've defended him at times but his position is untenable. he has to go. he needs a fresh start

What I can`t understand is how some PL clubs think he`s the answer to their goalkeeping problems.
I`d be quiet happy for MU to sign him!
A move back to France would probably be his best choice.
Also agree Ampadu back in midfield hence why I was thinking maybe Tanaka to play 10 with Rothwell and Ampadu in the middle.
Like Trebor has said the cup has come at the right time and we can let some of the fringe players get a game.

They are scum, and they know it will provoke a response. Not sure they are actually committing an offence by waving a national flag, and that’s why they push their luck. I recently reported a lad to the manager at my gym for walking around with a Free Palestine sweatshirt with a massive flag on the front. He told me he wouldn’t be doing anything immediately because no actual offence had been committed. He then told me the rememberance poppy I was wearing could be offensive to some people, in other words, live and let live. I told him it was the most ridiculous comparison he could make and after some toing and froing left with the understanding he would have a word with the lad at a later date and try to reason with him. A few years back the lad with the Turkish flag would have been noted and ended up with a different shaped nose outside the ground.
