A 9 or a 10 that is the dilemma as I doubt we get both. If Aaronson gets injured we only have Piroe and Joseph isn`t good enough just yet to take the 9 spot. I would also look at a LB. Funny isn`t it that for at least 2 years we`ve been saying the same thing. Wasn`t Schmidt brought in as a LB?

In a perfect world we would strengthen in the majority of positions, but it’s just not realistic. My preference would be a number 9. Ideally one that has more pace than the current bunch, capable of running in behind and stretching defences. Similar to Jermaine Beckford ?, yes please. If not a speedster, then one who is a real aerial threat and knocks defenders about, makes things happen for other players, a Lee Chapman?, yes please. Ideally we’d find someone with all the above attributes, but if not at least a couple because the current lot offer none of the above between the four of them. A loan would be ideal, because a centre forward capable of stepping up to the Premier League would cost big bucks and may not be available to buy at the moment. Also, buying someone just to get us over the line this season with the aim of upgrading him next season is not ideal. The problem may be we need to move at least one bigger earner out, we all know who he is, and whether he would be prepared to move on. As for Schmidt, just had a look at his history/stats and he’s classed as a right footer who prefers left back ?? Now call me old fashioned, but I prefer a left back to be left footed for very obvious reasons. We already have a surplus of right footers playing down the left hand side, and I think it causes us real problems to be honest. If there’s one criticism I have of us as a team it’s that we can look unbalanced a lot of the time. I think we’ve prospered despite it.

Unless we can poach someone with promise from a low hanging fruit of a team in the EFL.. both are very tricky to do in Jan. Though Ipswich did it last year loaning Keifer Moore in Jan. Farke said Schimdt didn't come on v Blackburn as he went to a back 3... he certainly rates Wober in higher regard at LB and i think he's right on what we've seen so far. Be interesting to see what he does against Hull, suspect Wober LB, Byram RB (he only had a cold so not injured)..

I see McBurnie is available and if memory serves me right he`s a Leeds lad and could do a job for us up front and won`t cost too much either. What`s others thoughts on McBurnie? There`s also a bloke called Greenwood who can play 10 and is doing well who could be available if we recall him.

We’d be 6 or 8 clear with a decent keeper. I’m absolutely fuming. The lad just makes far to many big mistakes

Saw em mate, absolutely shockers as you say. Very unlike him. Looking class above Solomon. I do wonder if they might look to bring a keeper in now or if they’ll back Darlow. Messlier needs taking out of limelight for a bit.

I think this game put to bed the 'Ampadu should start at CB instead of Struijk' debate. We need Ampadu in midfield, especially away from home.

Yes Ampadu is far better in midfield. Personally I would have gone Wober alongside Rodon and Schmidt LB. Hull were or still are the worse team in the league for goals scored and they had 6 or 7 players missing surely Schmidt should have come in for this game. James had a shocker against Blackburn too and I think we should have given Ramzanni a game especially against so called poorer teams. If it`s not working you have the likes of Byram and James or Gnonto to come on.

Just seen Farke`s interview where he said we didn`t give them many chances. Christ we could have been 3 down first half.
