| He's played nearly 200 games and not one area of his game has improved. His 1 on 1s have always been excellent, but his shot stopping and distribution have regressed, if anything. He's probably the only player In our 11 who doesn't get in most other teams in the league.

| he's definitely gone backwards. I don't agree with all criticisms, as a former keeper I wouldn't!!, but I'd still replace him if possible

You should do stand up Tad. Allan Clarke in his slippers at 70 odd years old would have made a better fist of those two shots Piroe had on Saturday at Preston. If felt embarrassed for him tbh.

| Quote ="Trebor1"Talking of Meslier, I was listening to inside elland rd podcast yesterday with G Smyth and J Donahue and they were pretty damning of Messlier of how, even in the championship and playing in one of the best teams for the last 2 seasons, he's not one of the best keepers (stats prove he's some way off).. and Farke needs to give him competition for his place to see if it does the trick. Now, he is still fairly young, but It's quite damning really that, even at this level he's not performing well enough to be considered one of the best in the division (he was exactly same last year).'"
At last someone agreeing with me that he`s been a liability for 2 years now.
I`m sure in years to come he will be a standout but at the moment he is nowhere near good enough in most facets of what`s good in a keeper.

| one thing I've noticed which hasn't been mentioned, perhaps it's the keeper in me, he isn't the bravest. its always legs first rather than smothering when he races out. at some point he'll give a stupid penalty away

| It’s game day, and nothing to fear if we keep eleven men on the field. It’s not being disrespectful to Oxford, but this should be a routine 3 points. I’m hoping for two things today, the first is Ramazani getting a start on the left. The second is all the players pulling through uninjured before the busy period. If you’re going today, enjoy the game and hopefully there’ll be a few goals for you.

| Listened to some of the game and just seen the highlights. Solomon seemed to stake a claim for the left side attacking spot on Thursday. Might be worth giving him a run of games rather than chopping and changing, Ramazani might not be too happy but healthy competition is what we need. Looks like it’s shaping up to be like last season with a handful of clubs being a cut above the rest. Let’s hope we can find better away form to back up the incredible home record.

| Thought Solomon best game for Leeds. MOM for me. James superb again. Would have given Ramazani more mins though personally but he and Gnonto looked dangerous when they came on.
3 from next 4 away I think now so Farke needs to get the away form ticking now

| Top 3 looking like the ones to beat now.
Just hope we finish in the 2 as some potential banana skins in the play offs.
Like you guys are saying it`s time to get our away form sorted now.
Good solid performance yesterday and was hoping Piroe and or Joseph would get on the scoresheet to boost their confidence.

Yeah Burnley picking up a few results of late but they have a tough run coming up. Fingers crossed top 2 get a bit of a gap on the rest after Xmas.

| Pleased for him, deserves a big job. One of the toughest jobs in Europe that though... very very demanding club and fanbase with a pretty tight budget for a big club.

| Bit of help needed here folks. Why is the earliest page on this thread coming up for me. Don’t fancy having to scroll through nearly 3000 posts to see the latest input. Great win yesterday btw. Any help appreciated, though I may not even see any replies so apologies if there’s no response from me.

| And I thought it was my laptop playing up. I tried replying to Leeds Owl and I ended up back in July for some reason! Thought Bogle or James were by far a better choice for MoM than Piroe who whilst he scored 2 should/could have had 5. Very good all round display again against a team intent in dirty off the ball tactics as usual missed by the linesman and referee but not by anyone else.

My M.O.M was Bogle but thought James had another really good display. When the ball goes down the right hand side with those two we have some real penetration, it stays down there deep in the opponents half. Too many times down the left it come right back to our defenders unfortunately. We’re in a great position despite not being the referee’s favourites. The apology from the referee’s governing body re the non sending off for the Preston player is too little too late. We have been on the wrong end of so many decisions over the years a cheap apology doesn’t cut the mustard for me.

| It’s not really clear what Tanaka’s current status really is, dropped or rotated ? If he’s dropped he may well feel a little miffed, but the result and performance on Thursday spoke for itself. We’ll get a bit more clarity when the team sheet is revealed on Sunday. If Tanaka’s not in the team he’s been dropped, simple as that. I’m struggling to see where he comes back into the team tbh. Looks like Ampadu is back for sure, which means Tanaka’s reintroduction would either mean shifting Rothwell and dropping/rotating Aaronson, or dropping/rotating Rothwell. For me Rothwell stays in the team, he’s the dead ball specialist and gives the team great balance. If Aaronson is what we call the “number 10”, I don’t see Rothwell moving up and taking his place, it’s a totally different position and he’s a totally different player. It will be very interesting to see who is dropped/rotated, but this is why Farke is paid the big money.
