Great effort by leeds, but for truely shocking officals you surely would have been celebrating instead. Dont think it mattered what you did on the pitch today as you was up against 14 plus touch judges and VR. Cracking effort though.

The Lima try was a forward pass, and the one leading upto the final try came off Burrow and not Burrow. Plus i think it was dropped before grounding.

What he said. As a Hull FC fan I was neutral at the start of the game but on my feet cheering you towards the end. Unbelievable effort and robbed by inept officials.

I honestly couldn't stand to support either of you at the start of the game so was completely neutral. You was extremely hard done to and the referees were awful.

The best side lost today the officials were a disgrace. Wigan may have won the cup but they won it by default. A great effort from Leeds.

Never thought I'd say this but damn shame you lost. A forward pass try and a wrong call into touch was really all there was between you. Pity Sinfield didn't have his kicking boots on as well. Bad luck.

Great effort but the start let Leeds down. When Leeds off load and get quick plY the ball your as good as Wigan.

Hard luck. You didn't deserve that. Ok fwd passes have been missed time and time again this season - but how on earth that last try was given I dont know.

what exactly does stuart cummings do?
bentham was right in line so he should have saw the forward pass that led up to the try that should never have been.
in such an important game as this that changed the whole outcome.
bentham should be downgraded for that...how many times did wigan knock on and baldy bentham played on?
if cummings hasnt got the balls to do anything about it..he should be sacked!

Would like to add my congratulations to Leeds for a great display, and hard luck. Your team are a credit to you and showed the media a thing or two about "certainties".

Officials made some mistakes, but the Saints and Wire fans crowing above make me laugh. The better side did [inot [/ilose. There were forward passes from both sides - just because a Wigan one ended up in a try doesn't change the result - a forward pass to gain good field position can also lead to a try. The ball played Charnley in the Finch 40/20, and even if Wigan had not scored after that we still would have won.

You was easily beaten today outside of the first 30 minutes and the better team did lose.

cummings will not do owt because he was as bad if not worse when he was the ref, the officials were e today but are throughout the season i dont mind losing if we are beaten by a better team ,but we were beaten by the officials today

Started the game cheering for Wigan but after Tomkins 2's and some bent calls I kinda wanted Leeds to sneak it for the good of the game! When Leeds aren't looking to niggle and start up the offload game you're still a decent side.

You might want to review that. A try does change the result usually when it puts you at least 4 points in front of your opponents...and what about the effect it has on the momentum of the game? If the correct decisions were made today re the forward pass try and the try leading from the non 40/20 would that have changed the result?

I think Ben Jones Bishop made a mistake with his kick after he had made the break, He's a big lad, she should have gone for the corner and run over ratboy. Leeds still had 3 tackles at left at least even if he'd been tackled and more men up in attack than wigan had in defence.

If [ievery [/iforward pass in the game had been been pulled up, of course it would have changed the game. Wigan may have won by more, or it may have been closer. Just because Leeds failed to score from their forward passes doesn't mean Wigan were lucky to win.

Cant say I saw any from Leeds or recall any being mentioned by the commentary team (which doesnt mean to say there wasn't any). Only saw the one from wigan (on replay) only recall one mentioned by the commentary for wigan (they scored from it).

There were several forward passes from both sides throughout the match. No different from any other rugby league match.

I dont disagree. I said I did not see any nor did the commentary team mention any bar the one that was a meter forward (B Noble) which you gained an advantage from.

Fair enough. Generally the commentators only mention them when a score results, because it seems to make more difference I guess.

Anyway, back to the point, congratulations to Leeds for a great performance.

They aren't forward passes unless they are given, until then they are opinions and you'll find as many opinions as there are people in a crowd whenever one is spotted (or not spotted), my opinion of the one that led to Wigans last try matches Brian Noble's but thats all it is - opinion.

Hard luck today guys. Some great effort on show and thought we were about to see another famous Leeds come back. Definitely some questionable decisions by the officials which influenced the outcome of the matches.

(Just hope it has taken enough out of you guys so we can sneek a result on Friday.)
