I hear Rangi and Joe have been suspended. Heavy drinking sessions over easter, allegedly.

They were both out on Tuesday i saw them.

Im glad if true. As much as we will miss them, its a marker down to the rest of the players that drinking through the week a few days before a game is not right.

I remember reading all the doom and gloom merchants on the Salford site last week and look what happened. You have 5 ex Giants players, I think. What better motivation will they need than to prove we were wrong to let them go. If they raise their game only twice this season, it will be against us. So I expect a tough game. Generally speaking I am positive person but with Chase Westerman Sherwin Evans Widders Owen Ferres Snitch all out for various reasons, I see nothing but a hefty defeat coming our way.

I just hope that Westerman and Chase have tho good sense to take their medicine and move on and we dont have a Danny Sculphorpe type situation in the works.
After seeing Westerman lay into the rest of the team after each try for Saints I am pretty shocked at this alleged behaviour.

We don't know why they have been stood down and we never will.

Chase and Westerman should hang their heads in shame (whether they were stood down for drinking or not). I am really becoming ed off with the crap that is coming out of the club lately. It's all negative, nothing positive. Matterson tries to put a spin of "we weren't far off" yes Terry we were, we were very poor in the second half against Saints and it is not going to get any better with players being injured or dropped.

The message needs getting out to the players. They either play because they want to or sod off somewhere else and stop wasting our time and money

I cant recall us putting out a weaker side in sl. Only positive is that holmes and walker get there chance.
