| How is this a win situation for Skolars ?
Perhaps the talented young local lads that are displaced could be loaned out to West London Sharks or Hainault until such time that they are deemed to be better than the on loan Harlequins players at Skolars (at which point presumably they will go directly to Harlequins instead of returning).

OK.....so you would rather you just carry on getting trounced? Those players displaced by Harlequins RL loanees aren't exactly setting the world on fire in Champ 1 are they (or is your league position and for and against points figure wrong? Getting hammered 56-9 every week is good for development is it???
Sometimes, "the little man" attitude of the Skolars amazes me

whooaaa......slow down a little. I'm not a Skolars fan but do care about them in an odd kind of way. My point is that they have some talented youngsters that have just come through and it will be a shame if they are displaced by the loanees. They aren't setting the world on fire but sometimes youngsters can develop and learn more in that environment. I'm also sure that their management and coaching staff will handle the situation correctly but in my opinion it would be a real shame if the young ones do end up missing out.

| The talented young players within the skolars ranks will improve more from having the Quins loanees in the squad than ordinary Conference players that cant handle the 2 steps up in grade.
A young player does not learn anything from getting smashed week in, week out. Their attitude to the game shrinks, and they feel they can not improve when getting belted.
I think it is a good move for the moment, however the next step now is to create an environment within the squad that builds confidence and enjoyment and also step up recruitment for next season (which was lacking massively this season).
I feel that their is good times coming for the club if the right steps are taken and adhered too.

| This decision by the board appears to me to show support to those Skolars players who have found it extremely difficult to make any head way this season and in need of the "muscle it out" type players when it gets tough. The players coming into the squad will hopefully bring inspiration and a different mind set to all involved in training and match days. It will also encourage everyone to turn up for training and fight for their places in the squad. If they choose not to take the opportunity of playing alongside these players from Quins then so be it. Take care of those who are not only talking the talk but doing what they are employed to do. Play !
Changes should be welcomed and encouraged. They are damned if they do and damned if they dont do something about the current situation regarding the position in the table.
Well done to the board for continually keeping a finger on the pulse and making changes for the better and being quite visionary in encouraging this partnership with the Quins
