| Despite 2 years passing, scars exist from the last debacle. Last night was a body blow with a raft of injuries, whilst Radford confirmed on Humberside that the remaining injuries for them are all cleared and good to go. They will be at full strength and we have the following out:
Addy
Lawler
Lunt
Heffernan
McGuire
Scruton
Kavanagh
We will do well to keep it to sub 20 point defeat I expect. Last night showed the gap between ourselves and the top sides, which Hull obviously are. Damage limitation exercise.

I expect it to be a tough old game as always a nail biter up to the end this Easter period can make or break your season so we need a big one with two tough games the points are all that matter to me, Derby's always produce the unexpected so don't write yourselves off yet sorry to hear about Lawler hope he makes a speedy recovery great young local talent, Danny and Pea will be a massive bonus to us for sure

| I'm more worried about what Wigan will do to us I still have nightmares about our last Easter Monday fixture and that was at home

I don’t know, losing 30-16 with a load of kids (including a 16 yr old Will Oakes on debut) was better than I expected. ( and it was away!)

That was pretty routine sort of game for us in 2016. Good psychological preparation for what was to follow, as well.
I just hope we can take something positive out of the Easter weekend, result, performance, whatever, and then have a good crack at Widnes. I’d absolutely love us to turn over Hull or Wigan, or just match them attitudinally (which I know isn’t a nice thing to admit in the case of Wigan), but I can’t see it.

We have Manu and probably Hadley out, Paea is having a fitness test this week.
Sheens said that he expects to have Scruton and Lunt back fro Easter, Kavanagh might play, depends on his head test.
All Iv'e heard from Rovers fans since you beat us in the friendly is how strong a squad you have, so now is the time to show this.
You ran Saints close who are the best side in the league, with injuries to key players and refs decisions going against you.
It will be a tough, tight game.

| Weather may play a part? The threat of snow now looks more like rain but that can lead to a tight game? Factor in ref and probable bit of biff early doors and you just don't know? My bet will be Minns 1st try and a red card in the game. Result wise I ain't going to predict as anything could happen either way

We’ll miss McGuire’s quality, and it’s a bit frustrating that we haven’t been able to get our two most pivotal pivots on the field together often. I guess you’ve felt similarly when missing Houghton and Kelly recently. But depth isn’t the issue - we just lack that bit of extra power and aggression, and that consistently costs us in contact. In fairness, we seem to have good energy, tenacity and a doughty attitude - but that tends to wane as the game goes on, especially against the more physically dominant teams.

Radford said he’s definitely expecting Houghton and Paea back this week and he didn’t sound like he’s given up on Manu or Hadley, so full squad to chose from. Luxury.
If you know any Rovers fans who think we have a strong squad then you only know daft ones. Don’t confuse size with quality!
And finally, if 6-30 counts as ‘running close’ then you might as well say we ran Leeds close at Wembley!

| We are not actually at full strength, Houghton is likely back but Peea is still a doubt. Manu and Hadley will be out, and Hadley has been one of our best players this year.
That said on paper, we should win imo. But it's an easter derby, so I might as well take said piece of paper and take a match to it.

| I just hope it's not like the good friday game of 2016, when we should have won but run out of steam and lost.
Expecting Hull to win, but anything can happen. Just hope that we give a good account of ourselves.
Be intresting to see who he plays at Wigan, given what happened last year.

Think that one may have gone over your head slightly there old boy
I don`t quite believe the old "Form goes out of the window" with derby matches but hey, its a game of rugby and anything can happen.. Always enjoy the Hull derby and have missed it over the last few years. Favorite memory has to be David Hodgsons match winner down the touchline in 2012? Was brilliant to watch, must of been heart breaking for the FC fans.
