On a plus point, I thought our young lads did well. Murrell, withers, paea, Taylor, Horne all crap tonight. Since Taylor has come back from 'injury' he doesn't look bothered.

I thought it was a brave enough performance. We're just a bit limited in our play and confidence looks low. The injuries offer an excuse tonight, but over the season we haven't been good enough consistently enough. Got back on track with that good run through early 'summer', but it's fallen pretty flat now.

Recruitment has been indifferent since 2008. Hopefully a few of the young players coming into the team now and our new signings will offer a bit more - we're often pretty pedestrian even by the standards of teams on our level and to win usually have to work unusually hard. I think Sandercock has taken some tentative steps to address that, but its hard while trying to also integrate young players.
