In todays game he got most things right, in fact I could only fault the held call which was too quick in the first half but he did call held when we pushed the player over the line, a real change to other weeks. The worry for Rovers is the amount of pen,s we give away each game and that has done us out of 3 games this year, cut the pen's and have Ganson for the Derby, jobs a gud un.

I thought Ganson tried his hardest to keep Hudds in the game in the 2nd half - I was baffled by 4 of the 5 penalties he awarded them? Will check the replay on HKRTV. Oh, and the least said about the forward pass the better!

It will be interesting to see the replay, but he seemed to be quick to give them relieving penalties as we were threatening their line, on a few occasions you could predict them.

Would the comments about forward passes you are missing include the clear one by Mika for the Latus try?

The only obligation the player has is that the ball has to leave his hands not forwards, what happens regarding direction after that is irrelevant according to the laws of the game.

After the ball has been kicked into touch after a penalty has been awarded, when a player is taking a tap and there are two balls on the field at the same time, is it not procedure to stop the game and remove the second ball before play can continue?

He was struggling to keep up with game on a lot of occasions. He needs to stay off the pies and lose the gut, he's a full-time professional, there's no excuse.

Annoyed me that. I think some of our players half expected the whistle too - still, the adage of playing to the whistle n all that.
They scored from the resulting penalty when Latus stupidly ran behind Murrell - I'm not sure the two ball incident was from that tap restart or the Con Mika pen tap restart.

Another decision that I really didn't agree with, was when (Lawrence?) broke a tackle and no way was he tackled, got up to continue (Watts or someone) then tackled him, Ganson then blew for Hudds penalty.

Overall, we didn't get the rub of the green, but most of the calls he gave against us appeared justified.

He can't have been too bad, we won.

I don't believe that Huddersfield only laid on one tackle too long yesterday.
