Anyway, I see him for what he is, and he's a damned good player.
Looks like the loan spell at Widnes has revitalised him, not sure what he has been playing at at Hull beforehand!!

to be honest it was his best performance in at least a year, and I won't get carried away until he backs it up with a string of performances...too often he gives a good display and then backs it up with a knock-on fest |

I find this all irrelevent, surely he is supporting the team he plays for. Sure one day he may like to play for his childhood team but I reckon he was very much wanting Fc to win tonight, just like when Cooke played for us in the derby.
