If Rhys does go it wont be because he wants to! He loves playing at Rovers. He's been a very loyal and committed player and I personally would be very disapointed if he has been asked to leave. Loyalty and passion for the club dont seem to mean anything these days!

There is another side to this.
What if Sandy has told Rhys that he probably isn't going to feature much.

Do we just let him sit in the stands or do we say 'Feel free to find another club as you may play more regularly the you will at HKR if you wish'.

And has he said that?

All rumours point to Rhys being told he can find another club.
I'm just giving a counter reason of how that may have happened.

Having said that, and thinking about it, there's this quote from a few days ago.

Aye and it happens all the time. But 1 year into a 3 year deal, with a player just going into his second year on a Uni course you might expect the 'i'll stay and fight for my place' response.
With the number of forwards departing he'd be playing anyway - certainly once we've got a couple of injuries in the pack.
