It really is debateable whether your SL licence should be revoked.

The team have had some ups and down. "Half way through the seasing *ffs"..? I say, exactly I don't know any Widnes supporters who said we would storm in and take a play off spot. DO NOT call any team who starts off in this position an embarrasement, if you are a true rugby league fan and understand the system? We could debate on the whole who deserves what, who has been bailed out, who has been supported, if I knew what team you support, but I am not going to traw through posts to decide.

I agree Betts is probably a lesser worry than Cullen, but I don't see where your statement of arrogance is placed, or whom it is aimed at. How can you revoke a licence based on half a season? Or do you know more than you are letting on?

For my ten penneth, ok its not pretty, its not the position we were in when we first graced superleague, but we are starting a new challenge and each and every player will play their part.

Thats what worries me to be fair, although Brown is a class player, bringing in players like him and Matty Smith wont have an affect on our defence. We need a defensive coach who will get us organised and knows what hes on about instead of shying away and making excuses sometimes. Not being funny but from the Huddersfield game, 13/14 games ago, the defence has not got any better.
We've had 76, 66, 62, 58 and 68 points put passed us by a number of teams. Not good enough and change is needed if you realisticly look at it.

I was bang on when I said on this very board when they got a SL licence that they wasn't good enough and shouldn't be let in.

The only feesable argument Widnes fans could put forward regarding getting in Super League was that they have a good ground and won the World Club Championship way back in 1989.

Off the top of my head, the lowest we've finished in the Championship recently was 6th back in 2008. We also had a 9-point deduction due to administration that year.
