| A legend in the making. A new Knocker Norton type of player. Turns up and plays like a boss.

| Wasn't happy with him for giving the intercept that led to the most tense minutes of my life!!!
That said he was a saviour today. Not many teams could of overcome the loss of a full back as well as we have today.

| If Richard Horne is the heart of the team then Richard Whiting is the lungs. Or the brain.

| Don't think it's been mentioned on any of the other threads, but that tackle to hold up Waterhouse at the start of the 2nd half was simply brilliant. Could have been massive for them.

| For a Loose Forward he sure does make a good fullback.
He was immense today. Great performance from him. His hold-up of the ball to stop the Warrington try was fantastic, he joined the line well, had great positioning under the high ball, and appeared 100% safe.
There wasn't an instance in the match when I doubted him which really shows how good he is.
I think our back rowers also deserve a shout-out. Whiting moving to fullback early on meant that they all had to play the full 80 without any sort of break (plus Tickle's dislocated finger + head injury). Good effort by all.

Except for the 2 bombs he missed. Don't get me wrong, he stepped in & did a great job, but he wasn't flawless by any means.

| Great club man and as Pete Gentle said - he's just a great rugby league player.

Not flawless at all but I thought we were a bit unlucky for the Riley interception as he was clearly offside the same as Briscoe was and Monaghan clearly took the ball out of play off Whiting. We got one with the drop out mind when Tickle kicked it.

| One of the heroes of Cardiff 2005 (the 'tip-on' to Motu Tony and then accepting Marcus Bai's in-goal offload to score). Too versatile for his own good at time, but a great servant to the cluba and, as others have mentioned, he has a great rugby brain.

Thought exactly the same, if Shannon was still on that would have been a try.

Maybe maybe not but with Shannons speed waterhouse wouldn't have got his try in the 1st.
Rich has done a good job for us yet again but full back isn't ideal for him now.
We really could do with Shannon back for the final. Gonna be hyperbaric chambers, intense rehab, specific diet n everything in the book to get back for that though. Looked a bad one on 1st impressions.
