well done to the giants for this one...they realise the crowds simply are not there so they offer a season of rugby for 50 quid! why cant fc do the same? the north stand is full once a season...the rest of the time its empty or not far off...why not segregate a section of the west stand for away supporters and offer fans a season ticket for 50 quid? makes sense to me...empty seats = no revenue...filled seats = season ticket money, food, drinks, programmes, merchandise etc...are you listening fc?!?!

The club makes little money out of the food and drink sales due to the deal with the SMC, and programme sales aren't what they were with the internet/tv/radio providing fans with news 24/7.

I don't think things are so drastic that we need £50 season tickets. A new coach, a new signing or two and a smaller price reduction would see season ticket sales back on the increase IMO.

ultimately we need to be consistently in the top4 to grow sales.

me and the mrs said £100 quid season pass's for the north stand. shift the away fans somewhere else. we dont seem to attract and decent friday night away following any way

I understand the OP's motives, but i would suggest an alternative match day ticket for something like £5 for the north stand, for games such as Catalan and Harlequins. I know they have promoted offers similar to these before, but why not tonight? I can't see what the club could lose from it.
Season pass holders would of course be unhappy if these were open for every home game and the value of a season pass would fall, but the Catalan game is the perfect opportunity and i think the club are missing out.

Personally I think its best to promote the big games, as these have much more exciting rugby and better atmosphere. Wigan have promoted their ties with Warrington, Leeds and Huddersfield in recent years for this reason.

A 'new' or casual supporter turning up for a drab, atmosphere less game with Quins won't be that excited to turn up regularly.

Pearson knows it is a successful side on the field that will bring the fans in.

Season tickets must at least cover whatever FC guarantee to the SMC. Cannot justify lower prices for North Stand than South Stand.

For those who normally buy a season pass anything less than this season's prices would be a bonus.
